Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

Family friend has a pibble (yes, she’s a tiny white woman - why are we like this?) and on our very first meeting it managed to bite two family members while she ineffectually tugged at his lead. Was her response:

a) Omg, the little monster needs to be put down
b) Oh, he’s so playful, he doesn’t know his own strength

Just kidding, we all know her response already. I’m dreading the call that it’s attacked a smaller animal or, God forbid, a child.

It may also be a Beauty and the Beast situation where this poor dog breed is a frequent victim of dog racism and she can both earn its love and look anti-dog-racist by having one.
 
I've been replaying the Dragon Age series (fuck knows why I keep torturing myself with Inquisition) and noticed something about the Mabari, a type of war hound, in the first two games it is pretty mastiff like with a rectangular snout and strong jaws and what looks like some wrinkly skin on its face but in Inquisition they just look like pitbulls

The wild dogs in Witcher 3 remind me of shitbulls.

Hey I liked Inquisition a hell of a lot more than DA2.

Time for some mods to fix the dog models

Inquisition was such an insult to the fandom. And the mabari as a whole seemed very much like a PR lobbying stunt to make pits look sweet and loyal although it was less in the nose in the previous games
 
(Edit: the site is currently shitting itself so my video isn't uploading. It's basically some guy trying to say shitbulls are great for therapy before his therapy pitbull attacks him.)

A lot of women (and some men) are subconsciously attracted to the idea of having a "monster" that is only nice to them. The only person in the whole universe to gain the monster's affection. This is one of the theorized reasons some women want to marry serial murderers and rapists.

I am aware of what white women do (lol) but in this case "attracted" and "affection" aren't sexual.

why is that do you reckon? i mean, evolutionarily it makes sense to desire love and protection from something otherwise dangerous, but it seems to go further than that
i think its also partially a matter of self righteousness, used to pad out their ego
 

Family of 3 injured in dog attack at Eden Prairie exit ramp​

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (FOX 9) - A young couple and their toddler were attacked by three dogs in Eden Prairie Wednesday, resulting in the mother needing hospitalization.

Eden Prairie police said the victims were panhandling near the Interstate 494 off-ramp at Flying Cloud Drive around 2:30 p.m. when it happened. Officials claim one of the panhandlers started approaching the car, prompting the dog to jump out of an open window and start biting.


Police said when the dog owners got out of the car to grab the dog, the other two dogs got out.

Witnesses say all three dogs - which were described as pit bulls - were viciously attacking the family.

"It was a mauling," said one witness who asked not to be identified. "I saw the owners of the pit bulls - whom I didn’t know were the owners at the time - trying to pull the dogs by the collars, and there was no releasing."

The witness said bystanders jumped out of their cars to help, using umbrellas and camping chairs to hit the dogs and try to get them to release.

The mother, who the witness says was using her body as a shield to try and protect her 2-year-old from being bit, was covered in bites and bleeding badly when paramedics arrived. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance, while the father and child were also injured.

"I hope the owners are held responsible for this. I hope these pit bulls are put down."

Police say the dog owners are cooperating with law enforcement, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police did not say whether the dogs were removed from their home.

The panhandlers were the one to approach the car. They are the ones breaking the law in the first place; they are the ones putting themselves in direct danger seeing a dog and thinking it's okay to approach it. A dog is not automatically friendly just because you think it is.
 
Sucks a little kid got injured, but their worthless shitbag parents got good and torn up and the Shitbulls will likely get put down, so the real major downside is that the parents survived. Hopefully CPS gets involved and takes the kid away.
