Hmm, speaking of Nicktoons Film Festival, I remembered this Canadian short film being showcased there:
When will these two old hags be playable characters?
 
How long til we get more Paramount stuff like Beavis & Butthead, South Park, Clone High, Star Trek, Jackass, Chappelle's Show, NCIS or CBS Sports announcers onto Nick All Star Brawl as secret DLC characters or stages?
 
Ecelebs will talk about it something trendy for a few days then move on the something else.
 
So, now that we have the leaks, do you guys believe all characters will come back from the first one? So far, we have no information on whether Sandy, Helga, Toph, Donatello, Mikey, Shredder, Lincoln, Hugh, Oblina, Powdered Toast Man or Cat-Dog will return.

I swear, if they are fully gone, then this roster will definitely feel like a downgrade. The ones that hit the most for me are Sandy, Hugh and Toph.

Hugh will definitely return since he was included as DLC by popular demand to begin with. Powdered Toast Man is a fan favorite so he’ll probably stay. Loud House is modern and popular so its main character will probably stay. I could see Helga and Sandy being dropped since we’re getting two new reps from each of their series. No idea about the turtles or Toph, but I could also see Oblina and CatDog being dropped since they’re a combination of relatively obscure and relatively less popular.

It would be weird to remove Sandy seeing as she is Nick's most popular female character and SpongeBob is the face of the company so 5 characters are really not a stretch. Helga would also be a weird drop as she is more a face of Hey Arnold than Gerald.

We are also missing Shredder. Would be really dumb to not have all 4 turtles as the other two were solely requested just to complete the TMNT.

The Angry Beavers are part of the roster, which are more obscure than CatDog.

For some reason, I can see these two not making it. Hugh is not an important character and Jimmy could easily replace him, though that would be a huge blow to the community. PTM was always a weird pick, and even if liked, could be easily discarded.

Personally, I hope no characters get cut as the replacements are really terrible and the roster would be significantly worse than NAB1 if all characters are on the box art.

Funny how Nick still acknowledges Angry Beavers despite it being one of the first Nicktoons to be screwed over in horrible ways. I'm glad Norb and Dag are in the roster.

Given how fanservice-y these games are in general, being loved by the community is enough of a reason to stay.

I think it’s a question of whether they’re trying to replace the original NASB or sell both. If it’s the latter, then it would make sense that characters are being swapped out for what are basically alternates. Two turtles are swapped out for the other two. CatDog is swapped out for the beavers. Hugh is swapped out for Jimmy. Toph is swapped out for Zuko. I hope that’s not true, but it would explain the cuts.

I am hoping everyone returns as the new editions outside a few are really awful picks that put nicheness before staples. Assuming everyone does return, the sad part would be that a few changes could easily make for a killer roster. When speaking of the roster, I would make these changes to the new editions:

  • Squidward and Plankton are 10/10 picks for SpongeBob, so they are kept. Really happy with Plankton over Krabs as he is a more underappreciated character.
  • El Tigre and the Angry Beavers are also keeps given that they are great new IPs to introduce to the series.
  • Raphael and Leonardo are characters I can tolerate so that TMNT is complete, but it having 6 characters feels wrong.
  • Jimmy is obviously 10/10 and should have been in NASB given he was one of Nick's biggest shows.
  • Vlad, if playable, was a great villain pick and great secondary for Danny Phantom.
As for the others, I would start replacing:
  • Azula should be swapped with Zuko. Sure it is a boring choice but Zuko was literally the second main character and Toph already adds a fun diversion to NASB.
  • Ember should have been swapped with another IP as 3 seems like a lot for Danny. Give her spot to a Zim character. If it needs to be a female, then Gaz would be a great choice. Danny and Zim are both super popular-niches and it is crazy that Zim doesn't have a secondary.
  • Gertie being the joke character sucks as there were way better choices, plus Hey Arnold getting three reps is weird. I would swap her with Stu Pickles as Rugrats is a major brand deserving of a high character count, and Stu was the OG meme dad before Hugh. He also has great moveset potential given he is an inventor.
  • Gerald should probably swap places with another IP as well. I would vote Jimbo and have them bring in one of the friends be it Cindy, Sheen (get some Planet Sheen representation), or Carl (another based meme character). Jimmy was a massive brand, he earned three reps.

For most I doubt it tbh, with the exception of South Park (which for whatever reason is very popular among kiddies and TikTokers), l mean like how many Zoomers knew that Beavis and Butthead was a thing? I'm pretty sure at first glance they'll probably think it's a copycat of South Park.

And finally, the most interesting page. This one claims to be for Reptar, but URL very noticeably says Helga. Reminder that Helga has not been confirmed to be returning in NASB 2 as of writing this. On top of that, the page also seems to be trying to show off various moves, but is still just using Lorem Ipsem.

And as far as anyone knows, that's it. . Thanks to the people from the official Discord for digging this stuff up. I am but a messenger and am not smart enough to discover this stuff myself.
