Oh I know. That's why it's peak Canada. A worthless 'grocery rebate' to fight artificially inflated food prices with a big bundle of more taxes on top of it.

I mean higher food prices , unfordable housing prices , higher gas prices and getting double tax on carbon. Yet minimum wage is in some places is $10 dollars less than living wage.
 
Canada is a country-wide version of Hobo with a Shotgun. Just no Hobo to clean it all up.


And its only a matter of time before it turns into Escape from LA/New York. Escape from Canada. Now that I think about it, that can be possible with AI tech.
