It'd follow the same scheme as the others. Simple gradients, strong identifiable color, and an icon. I leave a lot of creativity up to the designer, though I'd like the lolcow.chat icon to be modifiable so I can add "Active Users: 0/32" or similar some place on it.

This is what I got from Fiverr for a logo. It's basically what I asked for, but I'm not happy with it and I don't know what I want. Halp.

Ask for your money back this is atrocious, the font, the fucking star to radius. Gross.
 
@Null, I do design and illustration shit semi professionally, if you need shit then feel free to bug me and I'll try to work it in.
 
ok, gimmie a couple hours. Is the star in a circle the thing you asked on fiver? cause I can do something based on the but slicker or something else.

edit: what size you thinking? like do you need it just for net or print as well?

I did ask for the star but I don't know what I want tbh. Iconizing "favorite" is hard.

And make it a vector. I need it for everything.

I'm partial to both versions, but ver.1 is a bit more grounded, I can change colors to whatever, but I like red and shit, so sue me.

There's quite a few things off for me. I'm going for a modern web logo, so 3D doesn't work at all. I wanted to go with purple because of color theory relating purple with luxury. The font and icon are at total contrast; you'd want an Impact-style black face font to work with a bold icon.

Remember, I'm knocking off patreon, so what I need is something like this.

Okay, absolutely everyone has completely given up on my favorr it logo and I don't know what to do.

I've paid two different artists on Fiverr for logos and out of the four I got they suck.
My second artist (the last two) I still have for "UNLIMITED REVISIONS" but idk.

I'm not inspired by this shit. When the guy did the KF logo, I knew that was exactly what I wanted. Even with the other logos I use now (the lolcow sites), I think those logos suffice, but the KF logo was exactly what I wanted before I knew what I wanted. It's distinct, interesting, abstract. It represents the quirks and humor of this place and its name.

I want Favorr It's logo to inspire confidence and rid people of trepidation and their money. It's not about charity, I'm not taking money because I have cancer, I'm building shit. I want people to throw money at me because they want to support something interesting and amazing and exciting. It's not about good will or altruism it's about wanting to be a part of something fucking awesome that you can't do yourself. It's about being apart of something without doing any work, by just throwing money at the problem.

These logos I see don't inspire me. They're shit. They're just icons. Garbage some fucking sand nigger from fucking 3rd world countries threw together to justify their expenses. Fuck that.

No one I've encountered has the same enthusiasm for this idea that I have. I can't find my counterpart. It's depressing.

i love the font of the second set. i and trying to think of a logo that could go with it as i see the heart as an overplayed icon. any thoughts?

The first looks like a 90s logo of a gas station chain, and it needs either more or less of the Clean Fire (orange), otherwise the color balance looks off.
The second reminds me of Yahoo and that is never a good thing, besides it is a fucking star with a circle - that is not memorable. Also no one will notice the gradient.
What ever the third one is, I am very sure I've seen that logo before. Besides it looks like three guys getting sucked into the necronomicon.
The fourth one has a heart in it.... ok let me explain, there are so many hearts out there, the symbol has become meaningless.

The first could get something nice if you try to work from there.
 
Yes I am aware they're all bad. That's why I'm not using them.

I know, those look more like you want to rip off Twitter, with the damn bird and everything, not Patreon. Just something I was playing around with due to some autistic reasons. It needs a different logo, I am aware of that, but the shit you have from Fiverr is even more useless.

it looks like a wonderful gay bar. it's so energetic and visually interesting. you kind of got what i meant.

I just can't think of what kind of icon represents favoritism or support.
