That would seem to be a simple thing to get accused of here, just in general across the board. A person must advertise themselves as having a "low investment" energy slash take to be taken even remotely credibly. Otherwise it's very easy to be seen as a fool for having committed the faux paux of unnecessarily drawing attention to one's soapbox. Cynthia avoided the majority of that stigma (good for her, really), but I think it's because people knew what they were getting and she was unofficially(?) invited after her main fray. Seemed only fair to give someone like that a proper onboarding before they knew what they were coming into.


Nicks' lolcow moment for me was when I noted the dreaded livechat was going to be a 24/7 thing and he was beginning to sort himself out with his fans on the daily (pre-lewds). (Something about Locals just advertises and encourages parasocial trash) Then there's the constant theme of alcohol and his words being a bit too slick for someone who just abhors being a source of drama. How could we even imagine him as being remotely emotionally invested in other people's affairs! Opening a chatroom that puts attention seeking fans at your doorstep to bring all the daily community rumors to your doorstep screamed community control (in the sense of protecting himself and his brand). Add in the narcissistic attention whore wife and I was put off by it.

There's also the "I'm a narcissist!!!1" (edit) drunken confessional during the Legalbytes rant that he later claimed he couldn't remember. I comfortably attached the final nail in the coffin simply by recalling his own words and so that moment helped stitch it up.

Thanks for the history and context.

Your filling out of Roiloup's profile starts to make more sense now with his recent stream.

Thomas also mentioned that he's been told by secondary sources that Nick still constantly seethes and brings up his beef with Roiloup present day, which seemed to be odd to me because though I stopped watching Nick last fall, I did watch him religiously for a few years and have no idea who this alog is.

He was all too eager to take the easy way out by yeeting her, punishing her for being essentially the lone Locals voice to call him on his shit and gaslighting everyone that she alone was the disruptor of his 24/7 chat when it was in fact the rest of his sycophants that were dogpiling her for the crimes of being annoying and having committed wrongthink.

I also held out hope he'd recover up until this vtuber slapfight. (Thought it's probably at least partly because I haven't watched any of his streams in several months so I haven't seen his current state). His spergout at AO Cody is what converted me to the camp of believing the downward spiral is not recoverable. Once you start publicly lashing out at friends who are politely trying to help you, you can't be anything other than a lolcow.

I want to say there were several lines for me. The first was post Depp v Heard when it became clear we weren't going back to normal. Then when he had his whole "let's be risque!" shit, like, oh are we gonna ignore what Jack Murphey did in exposing his porn career for his kids to be mocked with, mister "If you're going to do porn don't have kids, and if you're going to have kids don't do porn"? The bottle in the ass is absolutely going to be worse then he likes once his kids are in college.

The real straw that broke the camel's back for me was something I'm surprised no one gave Rekeita or Drexel shit for: comparing Tiger Wood's affair to Penn State's scandal. The long story short to that the assistant coach for the football team, Jerry Sandusky, for Penn State's Nittany Lions ran a foster program called The Second Mile, and proceeded to abuse the living hell out of whatever boy he could get his hands on for over twenty years. It was not until 2011, two fucking years after Wood's scandal, that Sandusky was formally indicted by a grand jury for 55 counts of child abuse, 40 of which he would be convicted of. The Penn State scandal had loads of coverage, because people speculated for YEARS that shit was going on, to the point when things finally broke, the entire Penn State football coaching team was unpersoned, because there was no way no one knew what was really going on.

To compare some black dude shoving his big snood into whatever woman that wanted it, to orphaned kids being sexually assaulted in what they thought would be a safe home for them is what finally made me hate Nick.

Nick seems to be in the mindset that he can comfortably alienate himself from these groups because Nick believes that he's still got a pulse on society at large. To put it another way, Nick is so conceited/convinced that most people share his view on things (in theory or in practice) that he can fool himself into thinking that he's in the majority of common sense/practice while his opponents are either outsiders, or hypocrites that cannot admit that he's right.

For example, when Nick was getting pushback in mid December 2022 about his questionable activities with his wife (which he glosses over), he responded by claiming to have knowledge that "they" don't actually care even though he says "they" are 90% anonymous. According to Nick, nobody over 30 cares. After all, Nick is over 30 and doesn't care, therefore no one does... Implying only people in their 20s or younger do?


A few days later, Nick claimed to know how people talk at home, so they can't criticize him. He knows you do, you "fucking Christian pussy!" He knows you do!


Nick normalizing his behavior by projecting onto others could just be a defense mechanism against criticism, but Nick seems to genuinely believe that he has special insight into others (especially the anonymous ones whom he can freely project onto). The way Nick alienated his law audience, KF, and going onto picking a fight with the VTuber fandom has revealed several defects in his own self-perception and perception of others.

Nick seems to think he can write off the "prudish incels" (aka his old lawtube audience) because they are hypocrites, and not "real" like him. Nick also seems to think he can write off the "insane incels" VTuber crowd because a part of him honestly believes that he's punching down on a group of fringe of society weirdos, even though he can't stop gushing over how large the audience is due to popularity and how much money VTubers get. Funny stuff.

TLDR: Nick's approach of "I'm not the weird one, you are" is unconvincing when he's promoted the Balldo, posted a picture of a bottle wedged up his butt after his wife did the same, went to swinger destinations and gay bars with his wife while on drugs, and continues to burn bridges with his audience and other content creators.
