Most of the old-time critiques of Rekieta were due to his lack of professionalism, or at least some fucking prep. Sometimes that led to hilarity, like the Shoe Eater Shane bit in the weeb wars era. Sometimes it was a catastrophe, like the Dax / PPP / et al show.
In general, the thread was just your usual, "Hey new stream!", kind of multimedia thread, with some commentary, until sometime around Depp. Yeah, there were the talks about Drexel and some of the assorted idiots, but a lot of that was contained in the weeb wars or Dax threads.
There's no single answer to where the tide turned on Rekieta, because it's different for everyone. For me, it was when he started talking shit about his wife and kids on one night stream, but there were other signs, many listed up thread. If I had to give an estimate, the wider audience turn happened publicly in between the Depp and Brooks trials. Long time fans were turned off, and new ones aren't sticking around. Inertia is a powerful force on youtube etc., but his channel is not healthy these days. Him going full on to youtube will just lead to another ban. I can't imagine why Rumble would re-sign him, but I didn't think they would sign him in the first place. Some social media expert I am.
