I don't know about the FAA, but if you have bad eyesight, the military won't let you be a pilot. If you have mediocre eyesight, they'll let you be a pilot but they won't allow you to fly anything that isn't a big, slow, cargo hauler that basically only flies in straight lines. If your eyes are slowly rotting out of your head and creating constant migraines, they shouldn't even let you within 50ft of an instrument panel.

Here I was, thinking that Honeycomb.io was just a containment zone for the tech industry's most egregious sex pests.

I realise that venture capitalists are nearly as low as rapists in terms of productive members of society, but you'd think even the most degenerate of VCs would eventually get tired of burning millions of dollars. Especially if some of these funds are being used to fund criminal activities.

FAA: Commercial must be correctable to 20/20. Non-Commercial must be correctable to 20/40. Non-commercial can also have monocular vision or color blindness if you pass a flight test. Maybe some types of commercial too.

But the real problem is that if your only mental illness is being a tranny the FAA will approve your medical with open arms. But if you've even once been diagnosed with anything else, like ADHD in High School, it's thousands of dollars of tests to even have a chance at flying.

I'm of the opinion that due to the high suicide rate that trannies should never have any safety critical jobs or be allowed to own firearms.
