Ah Gamergate spergs out if they make Anti-GG jokes and vice versa, it's really grating and awkward regardless of which side your on. Chris is an interesting to compare Graham-both losers passed their prime arguing with people on twitter about shit that doesn't matter. Also Chris Kluwe said he doesnt buy Nintendo products and actively bitches about how much they suck-why would they give a shit what he thinks?

I wouldn't say Mrs. Doyle is some kind of indication of Linehan's attitudes towards women. "Father Ted" is the kind of sitcom where everybody is a little bit stupid and cartoonish; sure, Mrs. Doyle is obsessed with tea and has some very weird attitudes towards sex and religion, but Father Ted is a shyster who's perpetually overreaching himself, Father Dougal is an idiot, and Father Jack's vocabulary consists of "Drink," "Feck," "Arse," and, on occasion, "Girls." Linehan seems to have been an equal-opportunity offender back in the day. (And nothing, not even this, will make me stop liking "Kicking Bishop Brennan Up the Arse.")

Still, it is disheartening to see someone lose perspective like this. I suspect Linehan could never write that "I hear you're a racist now, Father" sequence these days, because he's been blinkered by ideology. Shame.

Yeah, but pretty much every main character in the IT crowd had some form of extreme childish streak as well; I mean was Jen really stupider than Douglas? As @Slowboat to China put it, he seems to have been more of an equal-opportunity offender.
