To be fair this "extortion" is in response to, and an attempt to dissuade, dried up cunts abusing YouTube TOS to silence the speech of people they don't like who are critical of them. I can't say I wouldn't do the exact same thing, except that I would have never gated content to be "nice" in the first place. All it really amounts to is reminding someone of the Streisand Effect and giving a concrete promise that it will happen.

One thing all the Jim fans in their Jim hats have taught us is the people who try to insert their favorite Internet celebrities into their real lives are often pretty weird. Most people realize their obscure Internet fandoms are obscure and NOBODY FUCKING CARES.
