No, I get it. It's always upsetting when someone you liked turns out to just be a dweeb, or worse, a lolcow. It's an unfortunate side effect of people getting more and more comfortable with using their real faces and identities online instead of using pseudonyms and staying anonymous as was encouraged in the old days of the internet. Well, that and no longer keeping things closer to their chest and instead oversharing. All you can do is ask yourself if the content is good enough to put up with some eccentricities, or if you want to cut ties and unsubscribe.
