Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

You do realize you're contributing to the thing you're complaining about by snatching away anything cheap and sitting on it?
I am not buying 500 copies of Halo CE and jacking up the price. Big difference.

You can't fault people for seeing the demand and making a business out of it.
They're not the consoomers, they're the one cashing in on them.
They aren't cashing in on them, they're hording them, taking them off the market and making it look like there's way more people buying those old games when really it's one guy. That's how the market gets skewed.

Are you talking about those game grading scams like WATA? Those only affect pristine copies in their original shrink wrapping.
People sell used Halo copies by the thousands on eBay.

Partially. Like it or not those grading scams have driven prices up. So have guys hoarding 500 copies of a wii game like there was pages back. Used Games used to be cheaper is what I'm saying man.

Everything used to be cheaper.

I can find classic Xbox games for 8$ with shipping included easily.
How much cheaper did they use to be?

I am talking walking into a game store and going for a game that isn't Doom 3. When I see 30-60 dollar price tags for a somewhat uncommon game, literal retail prices at my local stores, that reeks of overhype and people buying the shit out of it, so that when the store looks on Ebay to get a idea on the price it goes from maybe 15 to 60.

This is some Q-Anon “Trust The Plan” tier bullshit:

I don't have a problem with people watching or liking super hero movies. I don't understand the idea that if the movies aren't good, then you should rewatch them until you convince yourself you do like them. There were comics fans who used to be called "Marvel Zombies" but even they didn't have that kind of fanatical devotion to the company.

It's funny how hippies will tell you to buy from mom and pop shops or directly from individual sellers online when in my experience they're greedier and worse than the big corporate companies. Independent gaming stores like you one you've mentioned usually jack up the prices on everything, have shitty return policies even if the items defective (such as exchange only at best or commonly, no returns at all), and the customer service is usually garbage. As bad as big companies like Gamestop are at least you know you won't get ripped off by them and I've found plenty of rare games from them over the years that otherwise would have been extremely overpriced if I bought from a mom and pop shop or random asshole living in a basement hoarding games online.

The problem is that graded copies of games are intended not to be ever played again so those are more copies that are off the market for someone who just wanted to buy a copy to play.

Honestly, with the big companies wanting classic games to all be tied to online service subscriptions and your average prick hoarding old, used games that had millions of copies produced so the prices are artificially high the best way to play the classics now is through unofficial means.

I don't know how big of an industry this is, but consoomer Bibles seem especially cursed:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=bd53HH99phII can understand wanting to present the word of God in a beautiful fashion, but calling yourself "Humble Lamb" when your cheapest option starts at 130$ is a bit much.
Hey, I collected Bibles for a while. But they were for historical purposes, Bibles of the Old South. Have a:
Cherokee New Testament
Gullah New Testament (De Nyew Testament)
Choctaw Bible

I'm still missing a Jefferson Bible and a Slave Bible.

The people swarming were being assholes about it, so I'm siding with the city here.
Counterpoint: Californians deserve to be miserable

Her face is just covered in a layer of foundation so thick that you could paint a wall with it, kinda similar to the makeup they do on cadavers. So im not surprised, if she closed her eyes she would look dead.
Around here we call these types of women "chisel face" because that's what's required to remove their makeup.

Bluey honestly seems like a pretty well made kid's show but....
