In the US, if you are a complete shitberg they won't allow you to renew your enlistment. I knew a couple guys with medical issues that were able to finish their enlistments but were barred from reenlistment. I also knew a guy who did a big fuckup, CO & battalion swept it under the rug quietly and nothing happened to him. It was one of those cases where if you fuck up big enough, no one will want to punish you because it will raise questions of how you were allowed to fuck up so dramatically - where were your superior officers when you were fucking up? But when he was outprocessing a few years later, he was sitting in the waiting room with a couple guys; all the other guys got pulled aside by retention officers to try to get them to sign up for another contract, but for him they just looked at his paperwork and confirmed his address of record, leave balance, and official ETS date. So he suspects the battalion Lt.C talked to someone.
(He was a one-and-done, so never went back to figure out if he was permabarred)

The US military is big enough if you have a shitsack, you can transfer them to another unit and make them some one else's problem. Sometimes this even works - you have a guy who just has a beef with an NCO/Officer, or someone in the company is a bad influence,etc. You send them to a new command/new base/new country, and their discipline or motivation problems vanish.

I knew a MSGT who told me about a private when he was a first sergeant who was the company can't-get-right, and he tried everything with him. Talks to the CO because he's a big enough fuck up its starting to infect other guys in the platoon, so they send him to South Korea - whatever happened over there, guy suddenly straightens up and flies right, eventually becoming an NCO himself.

In one of my previous jobs at a certain organisation I had nothing but trouble with virtually all of my coworkers and they all seemed to act like assholes towards me. Moved to a different org doing the same thing and click, everything smooth and got on with 99% of everyone

Now the first org isn't carting bodies out on a daily basis so something there must work, but I just hated every second

Your opponents are men in dresses who has great sympathy within the media. If you open fire on them after THEY shoot first, even with the mildest bean bag, will the media say "oh my god how could that troon do that that troon got what coming to them" or will they say "OH MY GOD WHITE CIS SHITLORDS ARE ATTACKING TROONS WHO WERE JUST #PRANKING INNOCENTLY THESE WOMEN"? If you defend yourself, with those nice troons realize that you are merely defending in an equal response, or will they think you are escalating the violence (see: literally the tranch screaming about how they'll be genocided at any moment) and use it to justify more extreme measures to themselves (like they are now)?

If you're a middle age mom and haven't encountered many troons before, you just won't think about it. You're used to politely or impolitely sending a productive complaint about something to someone who can change something or doing it yourself, you are likely thinking you have the right to peacefully protest and give the courtesy to others. They aren't as paranoid and brainwashed as the cultist they opposed, and they know it would be bad optics to bring any type of item that could be used for assault.

If I was protesting, I'd personally bring some big burly men to stand around and drink beers (or non-alcoholic beverages depending on state laws) while we protested. They don't have to get up, they don't have to protest, they just have to exist near us. Nothing scares a bunch of angry young mentally ill men like a group of normal working class dads.

Judging from the marks on the side it's a lovely mix of cats using it as a scratching post (I let mine do it to my old computer chair I didn't give a fuck about) and, more importantly, kevin's fat sweaty ass and back corroding the material like a xenomorph's blood.

If you don't, we'll dig in, stay as long as possible, and leave things even worse than they are now."
