AOC is up to her usual idiocy:

'Praised for smiling and nodding' so in other words acting like an idiot does when they have no understanding of what someone is saying to them. Not to mention AOC goes on about how its totally unacceptable to do what he did while completely ignoring the fact the democrats and left didn't bat an eye when kathy griffith posted the terrorist trump head pic and were furious about her getting called out for it

Seriously this whole "everything is going to get fucked" shit really is funny to me regardless of how often it happens and for whatever reason - just like 2016 but in reverse? It's already been fucked and the "opposition" called your bluff almost a year ago then three years ago and years before that, and this was your party's response.
The gun rights cake analogy comes to mind.

I'm not impressed. I'll pay attention again if you retards get a funny haaahaa man again tho, as it stands. lmao.
It's possible that McConnells facade as master of the Senate is finally slipping. He's not acting in the calculated manner he used to which made him a valuable asset, he's making moves that suggest panic. Same with the other GOPe members, they're desperately scrambling and still haven't realized yet that MAGA won't go away just because they helped get rid of orange man.
That'd because they still think Trump was the wave when, in reality, he was the dam. The next MAGA leader will not be a naive boomer who assumes his party will line up behind him. And that thought terrifies them.

In addition, I think that they're waking up to just how much their "base" fucking despises them and, what do you know, WILL vote for representatives that actually represents them over Israel/the MIC/ Wall Street. And they're finding out in real time just how much of a thorn even just a handful can be.
Exactly Trump was Pandora, not Hitler he was an outsider candidate to relieve or reduce the angry of normies.

Dems didn't need to go balls to the wall & mask off about the system &"Bluff of what are you going to do normy ".

If Trump would have won the reelection in 2020, He would have been a lame duck in dem house & senate.

Big Corpo & power broker was mad at trump for stalling their 2016 plans.

Remember how easily a lot of his orders got removed minus border order (kekw).

AOC apparently made a point of specifying to the journo who asked that Gosar still hasn't apologized to her for the Attack on Titan video.
What was she expecting him to say?

"Hey, my big booty Latina. Sorry some random guy tweeted a video at me depicting you as a grotesque monster who eats people."

If McCarthy falls that will definitely spook McConnell and he may do something that he usually doesn't.
Depends on what McConnell has intended for his immediate future. Carrying on as a Senator? Lots of words and little else. Retiring into the sunset? Might be willing to burn his bridges,

Probably the latter. After all, backroom deal making has worked out for him pretty well in the past. We'll see how many people are willing to give him the time of day, though.

I don't think he's going to necessarily fail but he will be forced to make concrete promises that he will backtrack on like the snake he is, and probably try to cut some deals with the Dems to give him cover to run from his own party.
The sticking point right now though is that the RINOs and establishment have given all the concessions they're willing to part with. Handing the Freedom Caucus control over their primaries is anathema to these top-down wannabe Dem morons (as it keeps the rebels in power) and committee control likewise gets to the point where it starts interfering with uniparty shenanigans. Ironically for the first time since arguably Cantor we're looking at a wing of the Republican Party willing and committed to standing up to what they believe in, which ensures what happens next is anyone's guess. No wonder these cuckolded faggots hate Trump :story:

The RINOs on Twitter are pissing me off. "Get in line, do what we say, you're embarrassing the party!" If you'll break to vote with Dems on multitrillion omnibus spending bills, we'll break when you need us. It's that simple. You're in politics and can't think ahead to people tiring of this whole charade?

If they could think ahead, they wouldn't be in this situation. They would have worked with Trump to give the American people something that sees the anger fade away to something that can be controlled, directed, and manipulated for their own uses instead of obstructing him (and us!) and winding up with their voter base in full rebellion.

they will force McCarthy to step back and get somebody a little less Rino to do the job.
Forcing out McCarthy doesn't feel realistic.

The Freedom caucus isn't asking for THAT much. They mostly want more influence with committees or to have the threat of primary funding being given to opponents removed.

Even if they did get someone other than McCarthy, there'd still be the problem that the Freedom caucus would want those committee seats and they've now shown they will refuse to vote for anyone that won't give the seats up. Ousting McCarthy would end up making no difference.

There is always the option of threatening to vote for the Democrats. If McCarthy stays in and helps the Rinos keep control then it's equivalent to letting the Democrats stay in control anyway. So there's no real way to lose with this if they're willing to stick to their threats or are believed they will.

he showed how weak he is, i doubt he even has the full support of the rinos after this poor showing.

Does this mean that the Republican Party doesn't have a Speaker?
It means there is currently no Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. The speaker is the political leader, parliamentary leader, presiding officer, de facto leader of the body's majority party and the administrative head of the institution. It is a critical position that has to be filled before normal operations can proceed in that part of Congress really.

I imagine tonight some backroom dealings are taking place to try to get a vote sorted out tomorrow. The way things are looking now I won't be surprised if McCarthy ultimately wins but has to give some concessions to those that oppose him since it is clear they have the capability to drag this out even longer.

Looks like Trump didn't expect the pushback to hold like it did, since republicans always cave, now is saying c'est la vie. I doubt McCarthy trying to scapegoat Trump as the reason the GOP fizzled in the election helped, on top of deliberately refusing to help MAGA candidates. Gaetz earned some points this week.

But this of course means RINOs will absolutely vote for a dem just out of spite.

Either McCarthy knows he is going to get the votes or this is just a bold overconfident move he will regret later. Not even sure who approves of moving offices in the House honestly.

I can hear Fox in the other room; Hannity is hyperventilating, talking something about the GOP coming together. I don't think is ending soon if the mouthpieces are so worried.

Tell me again why to support Trump.
