Chris will never just deal with it ever again because he has created a fantasy world where he is a perfect being that everyone loves and solves everything with a token fight, and he can just continue to go deeper.
If given the opportunity, Chris might pay for something at a McDonalds using C-Quarters, or smithing the cashier with a bolt of lightning if he doesn't get his tea or apple slices for free.

If we only have Chris’s word on this, I don’t believe it to be true. I do believe she told them she’d never cook again, but she likely at least cooked for her self. Otherwise, yes to everything.
Yeah who knows Chris is an extremely unreliable narrator but I'll give him credit on that one. It is in line with what I'd expect form a narcissist. A normal person might get pissed and refuse to cook for like a week or two as punishment, but since narcs see people as either all good or all bad (they're incapable of realizing that good people make mistakes and sometimes do hurtful things from time to time), I could definitely see Barb refusing to cook for them again as punishment. But yeah I can't say for sure. Someone else said that perhaps Barb just didn't want to cook anymore and used that as an excuse. I could definitely see that too.
Unfortunately, it's one of the traits that Chris learned from Barb, seeing that he was closer to her than to Bob. Be glad that Chris didn't have kids (lmao), that if by some miracle he does, chances are his kids would repeat that cycle of narcissism.
This is one of the things that absolutely pisses me off the most about parents who are on the dark triad. A lot of times there kids will pick up and emulate their awful behaviors. Chris is hardly alone in this regard. I knew a person who I strongly suspect was a sociopath who had a child, and her child was almost a carbon copy of her. She would steal and lie constantly and would show zero remorse for doing so and was exposed to a ton of shit that a young child should never be exposed to. Thankfully, unlike Chris, cps took her away from the mother and now the mother is thankfully dead and can no longer pop out kids that she doesn't give a shit about.
It’s been posited that Barb got pregnant on purpose to trap him. Maybe she lied about being on bc or maybe the rubber broke, who knows. I don’t blame him for Chris’s existence so much.

I wonder if he stayed because of some sense of honor. Good white husbands and fathers don’t break up their families, according to some old philosophies. It doesn’t occur to some people of his generation that leaving the crazy wife might be what’s best for the family.
I think it's mostly due to Bob's age. When he met Barb he was in his late 50s. As you get older it gets harder to find someone to date, so I wouldn't be surprised if Bob thought that his choices were either be alone for the rest of his life or stay with the crazy bitch, and ended up choosing the latter due to his fear of lonliness.

Does anyone know if "Tugboats" are affected by convicted felon status in Virginia? I know some states limit social programs to those who are convicted felons.

There are times that I wonder what would happen if CPS took Chris away to be taken care of more competent parents who better understood his needs. Unfortunately, Borb were the type of parents that has a distrust of government/professional institutions and wanted to do things their way. And that way failed so hard, it's serving time behind bars.

That's the legacy of the Weston-Chandler family.

Quick political sperg; no wonder people become trapped in a vicious cycle of returning to jail then. Not criticizing the US or Virginia specifically, just any jurisdiction that limits social programs to felons.
I thought the point of going to prison was paying your debt to society?

Really Chris is being a Weston. The Chandler side has been more smart (in Bob's case, before he met Barb). Look at Bob's kids, versus Chris. The Westons have a history about being drunk, lecherous white trash tards.

That’s actually an oddly tragic side effect of Chris.

Had Chris not been Chris random strangers in other lands like myself would never have heard of this family specifically, and known them to be white trash.

Chris probably doesn’t have to worry about that since he’s not being charged with a felony (at the moment). The FAQ has more information.
Under federal law the tugboat only stops upon conviction, so because of that, in the time Chris has been in jail he has been paid atleast $20,000 in our tax dollars

I doubt she did. She even completely filled the kitchen with Barbage so nobody else could either.

Chris is going to buy so much LEGO when he gets out. Realistically, if this amount is at the current price or higher, Chris can buy a used car. But this is Chris we're talking about: he'll want someone else to buy him a car with their money.

I remember one of the law kiwis saying his stay at the hospital might have stopped or paused it.
so if it is turned off, can Chris turn it back on right when he gets out of jail? This sounds stupid because the FAQ covered it, but one of the requirements to qualify for SSI and SSDI is that you need to work for some amount of time. Chris didn't need to last time because he got it through Bob's retirement insurance, but would that be true this time around?

He could restart it. It's not a punishment for being convicted, just a pause because he's already being supported by the government in jail.
His life is so fucking miserable, taking away his mental escape could destroy him.
His life is miserable because of his maladaptive daydreaming.

That is an interesting question. I assume since it's under Bob's insurance, Chris will need to talk to them, and they would have to get it restarted. Chris is not going to work to get his tugboat back. He is most likely even more paranoid to 'find work' since the incest saga started.

To be honest, I wouldn't blame him*. I would be embarrassed if my employer did a background check and ended up seeing me in cuffs on a recorded from the Killstream.

* I still blame Chris for being a dumb, lazy motherfucker, who constantly and consistently puts himself through these things so that he wouldn't work a normal job. Part of me thinks (despite the 'tism), Chris is doing this on purpose so that he wouldn't be employable because he's lazy and he doesn't like being told what to do.

IIRC, Chris’s tugboat is “his for life”.
He qualified as unable to work so is entitled to this.
It is turned off while he is in some forms of custody, but can just be re-started with a simple form.

The speculation was that Chris wouldn’t have the chops to figure this out for himself.

But as heilberg would be aware of Chris’s circumstances, this was why everything was taking time as the court and Heilberg were attempting to find a place to put Chris which the tugboat would cover and Chris would be tard wrangled.

I assume Chris wouldn't buy as much stuff as you're limited to what you have in your room of the home. Much like everything else, professional institutions are doing better than what Borb did; they let Chris spend like crazy. The home would put a stop to that.
