I've never been able to take the logo's seriously.

They look like Rorschach tests drawn by an edgy, face paint wearing teen while sitting in an all night diner alone after sneaking out of his parent's house at 11pm.

i've always wanted to make a parody metal band just for the logo alone
just a huge squiggle that doesn't say anything.
tbh, i think some of them look cool, but it's overdone

I'm not convinced the first Xasthur logo actually includes any letters.

This band is pretentious death/doom metal from Saudi Arabia, of all places. Their latest album is an hour and 46 minutes and only has five tracks. It got three "zero" ratings.

It came out twenty years ago, and the band broke up two years later. And I'd be surprised if they broke even on that release. You don't go into heavy metal to make money. There'd be no point in filing a lawsuit; you can't get blood from a spiky corpse-painted stone.

I saw Shitfucker a few years ago at the Martyrdoom festival here in Brooklyn. Midway through their set, I'm pretty sure someone actually took a shit in the pit, because it smelled awful.

That's a nice segue into this next band.
