This makes me a bit sad because I like the shark and so does my little nephew. He saw it in the store, was adamant it came home; he named it, loves it, reads to it, sits it at the dinner table. He's learned about marine animals because of it. They've been inseparable. Then I found out about this a little over a year ago. Silly to be a bit sad about it, I suppose. But I still am.

The essential thing to know about most trans women is we're not seeing women. I suspect the name is picked as a pop-culture reference.

Lilith is a name of a character with magic powers in Borderlands, which is a very woke video game that has dialogue that constantly makes pop-culture references. It was pretty popular when most of these troons were kids.

I had always thought that name was a giant fedora tip since "Lilith" was Adam's "First wife" in a different revision of the bible or some shit. Either that or their favorite anime was evangelion.
