That'd be a bit of a shame, since that would probably mean it won't be the big Usopp arc like people have been hoping.
Then again, I guess Wano wasn't quite the big Zoro arc it was being hyped up as either.

When was the last time Nami drew a map, or Sanji talked about the All Blue? Sanji has talked more about turning invisible than his alleged "dream."
 
How many of Usopp’s original lies do we have left to come true?

Also, if the World Government guy coming to Wano is a plant-based guy, that does leave some possibilities for Usopp to have something happen with his character.

those weren't even real ancient giants, they were probably grown in a petri dish and considered failures (probably because they were too retarded to maintain loyalty to only one party and count past a single number), so it wouldn't have counted anyway

ussop needs to fight real farm-raised giants, like the giant squad in the navy before whitebeard killed them all

True, which is why if they do go, I'll expect it to be because it's Blackbeard's territory somehow.
Or at least, they'll meet up with their allies there, like with Zou.

Didn’t Blackbeard have a massive Giant on his crew or something? I feel like I remember seeing him with one during the battle with Whitebeard.

Sanjuan Wolf, the Colossal Battleship. He's so huge he could literally walk across the sea floor. His size comes from a Devil Fruit, and the weaknesses don't apply because he's too fucking fat for the ocean. When he last appeared before the timeskip he broke the Blackbeard Pirates' raft with his fat, necessitating they try and take a Navy battleship while Wolf walked on the Grand Line seafloor to lose weight. Both endeavors failed horrifically.

Indeed. I don't think they've clarified what his height is when not using his powers, but he can get big enough to stand on the ocean floor (albeit weakened).
I could see him at Elbaf for one reason or another.
