One thing I just noticed too on the bounties is that Shanks and Blackbeard's crews aren't in any of the top stuff like Kaido or Big Mom.

Just a few more days to go.

That's because we haven't gotten any focus on either crew doing anything that warrants a bounty reveal in either the manga or supplemental material. The Blackbeard Pirates only got their bounties revealed through the Vivre Cards, and AFAIK that was only the initial 5 members before Blackbeard became a Warlord of the Sea. We don't have any updates on them yet.

I'd be more concerned that Rocks & Rayleigh were lumped in with Dragon and the other Warlords in that note about the bounties being reissued, unless TCB translated that weird and it actually says something slightly different.

I disagree. Usopp is one of my favorites and it's just that his objective is more or less like the cowardly lion from wizard of Oz. He wants to be something that he already is right now. He just needs to notice it.

For example, at the ending of this arc, when he was wounded, scared shitless and out of his league but he STILL refused to abandon Kinemkon and Kikunojo to die. He's already brave, already famous (with his large bounty) and already a strong warrior (he's just outshined by the other strawhats and the absolute monsters that exist in the new world).
To add to this, Water 7 also addressed the parameters of his dream and why Usopp doesn’t feel like he’s accomplished it yet. He wants to be able to tell his hometown real stories more outlandish than the lies he used to tell, and to Usopp the idea that he’s the hero of his stories is the most outlandish part of all.

No Chapter yet?

I read Full Summary more than 12 hours ago! Very exciting stuff happening now.

Translation of the first part of the interview/conversation between Oda and Aoyama (author of Detective Conan) celebrating reaching 100 volumes at the same time

Tom & Jerry is a more appropriate comparison due to the slapstick nature of Gear 5, but I've become more and more curious about Vicky the Viking and wonder just how cartoony that show actually was, and what other cartoons Oda grew up with.
Oda directly mentions Tom & Jerry as the inspiration lol.

Tom & Jerry is very popular in Japan, so it's a no-brainer it'd be an inspiration. Oda having read Ranma 1/2 probably is no surprise, but I think it's still pretty neat to know he does go out of his way to read his peers' works.

Sabo going from nothing to a better symbol of the Revelation then Dragon overnight is beyond funny to me.[

Also Shanks just turning up at Wano and then leaving seemingly us also funny

If Piraites can just turn up whenever what is the point of the borders and why did the WG run away?

I am very glad Shanks et al did not know the Rubber Fruit was Special from the start/spoiler]

So most of what's revealed in the chapter was pretty much theorized by a lot of folks, so good to know (well, sad, still) that's confirmed.

But I didn't expect Shanks to be like "Hey let's just go claim the One Piece now and just kick off this war once and for all lol". LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Oh have a meme.
