I’d advise reading up on the case first because there’s so many characters in the doc it was hard to keep them straight. Beside the sad life of poor Vera Jo, this film is otherwise full of wondrous characters. And you Sarg stans will get a better understanding of what he’s probably like irl.

Sorry, point of clarification (not in a snarky way, I promise). Are you saying that there are regular people who don't bang but sell drugs, competing for market share with the street gangs who do the same?

Jacksonville has a racial/class split, or had, that was determined by which side of the tracks you lived on. On the "white" side you have all the white trash dealers with some gang crossover, and on the ghetto side you have gang dealers with a smidge of white trash going out towards Rose City and Lonoke.

The reason I said had is because white flight is occurring and the city is rapidly becoming baby Pine Bluff in areas. That's also why I said that the area of Poplar St. Sammi is on is in a relatively decent place but trashy; those apartments and the Ramada/Jacksonville/hooker inn are within a half mile or so of each other and largely share the same type of clientele; poor degenerate trash of all colors and size.

I'll mildly power level, but on New Years Eve someone was spraying on the ghetto side with a fucking mac 11 or similar small caliber smg.
That's how bad it is now.

And I apologize for the double post, but I just thought of some additional information for those curious. There's an obvious turn for the worse once you approach the train bridge near the BBQ shack and also the main street bridge.
Go on Google maps and look up the area, especially near what used to be Jacksonville Elementary. It's now the worst of the ghetto in town and between the condition of the housing and the burnt shell of the school, it goes from suburbs to Detroit lite fast.

If I recall, part of the "nrcc" Sammy uses for a name refers to this Rose City area so it must be a dump.

I watched this last night and can’t get it out of my head, such a heartbreaking story. Everyone featured was absolutely exceptional, but that one young woman with the jagged broken teeth made my skin crawl. Those chompers look like they came straight out of the worst imaginable anxiety nightmare.
And of course someone faked a pregnancy. White trash behavior is universal.

All the teeth were atrocious in that documentary-even the people who HAD teeth had horrifying teeth.

She’s even more repulsive than Kim, and that sounds like a stretch but not only is this true but she molested all her kids.
All of them, even the ones that CPS didn’t take.
And then some other kids in her vicinity too.

Yeah that….YEESH. How did she never get charged as a sex offender? Everyone admits she did it. I don’t get why her last four kids were never removed or why the ones who weren’t adopted out had a relationship with her.

This whole cycle will continue as long as these people continue to reproduce.

I’ll be honest, I made it about 7 minutes in and turned it off. I know my limits.
There’s goblin clans like this in every town where the boys all end up in prison, etc. I guess LE let’s them sort themselves out until they cross a really big line.
I know eugenics gets brought up a lot on the KF, but it has its benefits.

I was wondering if the laughing/smiling was some kind of tic. He was pretty awkward though, At least the golden child punky was no longer around, if Cheri was scared of him, I’m sure he was quite pleasant.

It weirded me out that she wanted to go by Sugar Babe knowing that her pervert dad gave her the name.

I understand inappropriate laughter, I unfortunately get the nervous giggles at some inopportune times; a funeral and minor car wreck embarrassingly come to mind. That guy though smiling and laughing? He was creepier than the older son for sure.
 
I watched it with my wife last night, and while she's way into the whole true crime thing, her biggest takeaway was
a) those teeth! On all of them except Gina and possibly a couple of the sons and
b) what the fuck is wrong with these people??

I can't blame her, she knew nothing going in except it was white trash true crime. The whole cast should be in prison for life just on principle.
