The wiki makes it sound like she took out the mortgage before.... While Bob was alive, if that's the case he was a bigger enabler than we thought.

Where did you see that? I haven't exactly read the CWCki front to back, but I don't remember reading that anywhere.

It's because Null mistakenly said it literally once years ago and now it won't die.

Ah. I should have known it was something like that.

Something mistakenly said once gets latched onto and repeated ad nauseam. Meanwhile, known, obvious facts can be demonstrated a million times and be ignored.

No, she took it to buy giant mountains of Barbage all over the place.

That's Barb's version of "rebuilding 14BLC". Home is where the hoard is.

Regardless, he just kept getting basic terms wrong during his periods as Chris’s handler.

You expect perfection?

Who has the time to get every little detail of Chris' high functioning life correct, especially as it's happening? That's why these forums exist: to hash out the mistakes.

First mortgage paid off Feb 2009, second one taken in April 2009....

I was sure she'd taken out a second mortgage (third in sequence) to rebuild 14BLC. Maybe it wasn't that large and was paid off shortly after 14BLC was rebuilt, but i could swear I saw two simultaneous mortgage liens against the title sometime around early 2015 while it was being rebuilt. i was looking for builder's liens at the time so wasn't paying attention to debts. I probably should have kept a copy.

sounds like a TLC segment
since TLC just picks up any absurd thing into a tv series

Taking bets for the first cable TV Chris Chan documentary appearing on TLC (Formerly a channel about learning, now about disgusting white trash), History (formerly a channel about history, now about psychics and aliens), and Syfy (formerly a channel about science fiction, now about professional wrestling).

Obviously TLC is the frontrunner, but Chris' mystical religion would fit on History, and his bullshit pop culture memes would fit on Syfy.

Wildcard entry for Tiger King-style event on Netflix.

We get those channels in the UK as well and they suck hard, I can recall the glory days of Sci-Fy and it showing lots of cool films and reruns of TV series you just didn't find else where and they always had a decent horror film on a couple of times a week.

TLC programming got put on the old Discovery channel here and it was great, but the channel turned into my 600lb life and toddlers in tiaras etc and endless repeats of Judge Judy.

It's part of the reason I haven't owned a TV coming up on 18 years at this point.

Didn't they approach Geno and then cut contact? It wouldn't shock me if we got some one pitching them a series based on Chris in some way even if it's not exactly a documentary.

A biopic about Chris's life would be interesting. Or shit, gather some of the Christorical figures for interviews and do something for Discovery+; it seemed to work well for gathering Onision salt for a bit.

I wouldnt want to see a place like Discovery touch it after what they did with that particular story.

Remember when TV channels showed what they were called, and Chris didn't incest his mom?

Kiwi Farms remembers.

My bet would be for the online only version of one of those.

Anything would have to be seriously sanitized, though. And at the moment, no one wants to air something with a trans person like Chris making everyone look bad. Unless it was a Fox Nation doc. That would really be something.

Has kengle given up writing chris? With the exception of that letter he got when chris got back to jail the letters he was getting were pretty meh. Or is chris not writing back cuz people snitched and told chris about kengles letters released without chris' permission

I don't think it's either, TBH. It wasn't that abnormal to have a slowdown period on the letters, even with Kengle, who's always been writing to Chris. Kengle is still trying to profit off of the letters though, as he has made a thread dedicated to some of the letters the Helena sent to Chris way back when.

Easy, they would just frame it as evil trolls made innocent Christine Chan do all the bad things, and that the documentary was a way to redeem Chris's reputation from all the online slander.

The one I miss the most is The History Channel, which used to show programmes about Ancient Greece and WW2. Now it's the 24-hour Pawn Stars and "reality shows about truck drivers" channel, both of which have pretty much nothing to do with history. It's all so tiresome.

There are other “bullied” trans people out there they can use for that message. Chris is way too disgusting and can’t fake humility or follow directions. There’s only so much creative editing can do, and it just makes more sense to find someone else.

The only people that were even concerned about his pronouns were people that heard he was a content creator that fucked his mom. They likely never heard of the trolls or his Love Quest to begin with. I don't envision making a Chris movie with that particular vision.

If only he’d caught on earlier we could have something interesting.

Probably Netflix because so much of his saga is nsfw. I can see TLC doing a toned down version, but leave it to Netflix. They have all kinds of experimental shows.
