"Brazilian Mercenary volunteer reported killed in Ukraine.
43-year-old Brazilian Andre 'Hack' Bahi from Porto Alegre was killed at an unidentified location. It is reported that he was a veteran of the French Foreign Legion."

"First Brazilian mercenary killed in Ukraine
Around the group of foreign mercenaries captured in Severodonetsk, there are many rumors: supposedly most of the fighters died in heavy battles. Unfortunately for Kiev propagandists, these rumors are becoming reality.
Brazilian mercenary Sandro Silva in his private Telegram chat confirms the death of his compatriot Andre Hack. His partner Andre Kirvaitis contacted Hack's wife, who identified his corpse.
▪️André Hack is one of the top three "insta-warriors" from Brazil, who gained fame thanks to publications from the battlefields on their social networks. Local media have repeatedly criticized them for photographs that could lead to strikes on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▪️ Previously, Hack served in the French Foreign Legion, arrived in Ukraine at the end of February.
▪️Together with other Brazilians, he left the base at the Yavoriv training ground just a few hours before it was bombed. He trained other mercenaries, participated in the fighting in the Kiev and Kharkov regions, at the end of May he was transferred to Severodonetsk.
▪️The last time Andre Hack appeared on the air in a report by Radio Liberty on June 3."

Edit - Unrelated: Another victory for Ukraine!
Their soccer team successfully extracted itself from the World Cup.
SLAVA UKRAINE!

So it seems that a politician is commanding the Severodonetsk area since the 3rd or 4th of June.
It's also mentioned in the post, this is the person who introduced the bill that would allow it to execute deserters on the spot (it got rejected)
What possibly could go wrong?

"More bad news for Ukrainian forces in Severodonetsk.
Mariana Bezuglaya, a deputy from the Servant of the People party, just assumed command in this area.
This was condemned by the Ukrainian Nazi military propagandist Yuri Butusov.
He accuses the commanders who were under Zelensky's influence of "inappropriate use of special forces for unprofitable adventures."
By the way, it was Bezuglaya who offered to shoot all deserters on the spot.
It remains a mystery where the entire Ukrainian command staff has gone. However, the answer to it is also simple."

"In Donbas, the brother of one of the Maidan organizers was seriously wounded in the head
Lawyer Masi Nayem, brother of ex-People's Deputy Mustafa Nayem, was wounded in the head during the fighting in the Donbass. At the moment, he is being taken to Dnepropetrovsk for an operation, Ukrainian businessman Andrei Stavnitser said."

So, there was an incident yesterday.
Ukrainian AA shot down a supposed Russian Su-27 as was reported by Ukrainian telegram channels.

There's one thing though..

Supposedly from here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozerne_Air_Base
Shot down somewhere in Zaporozhie province.
Flashbacks to that point-blank tank shot debacle.
It seems there is something very wrong with communications on Ukrainian front line.

Point blank infantry engagement. No source was given, but it said that this was a last stand of a Ukrainian fighter.

I spoke to people that were in this exercise and the tech made a difference but mostly it was the decentralized decision-making by people close to the action that made the big difference.
Another thing that made a big difference:
One side had British 40 Commando of the Royal Marines, a USMC Special Ops company and an infantry battalion.
The other side had two infantry battalions and support units.
Of course there was going to be a curbstomp.
That is an absurd amount of generals. I feel like I need a full breakdown of the logic behind so many cooks in the kitchen and if there is any. Now it really does seem like a dead Russian general really isn't that big of a deal.
I mean, if they have that many generals, it stands to reason most of them can't lead. The good ones would be at the front to get shit done, the other 10,000 are enjoying their vacation home built by conscripts.

I just checked, out of a

Just checked, the US Ground Forces (Army, National Guard and Marine Corps) have 653 Generals. The Russian army is slightly larger on average at about 1.3 million and has 11,000 generals.
You got an extra zero on the generals ... there are/were about 1,100
(ukies popped off about a dozen)

edit: there is over 10K personnel assigned to the office of the general staff ... maybe that's what you mean't

Ukrainian forces storm russian trenches, remove invaders from premises

They fucking lost at soccer to Wales.
Fucking WALES.
:story:
And I don't wish to dunk on any Welsh here (my mum was from Wales, diolch yn fawr iawn). and loosing in rugby union would be understandable. But Soccer? LOSING TO WALES IN SOCCER?!
Holy shit. you worthless kholhol faggots.
Also a shout-out to the England soccer team for taking the knee with pride armbands right before Hungary pushed your shit in. You fucking faggots.

Remember the photo op that AFU did, when they brought a border post supposedly to Russian border?
AFAIK it was in Kharkov province.

You can get that kind of a post in many places, but it doesn't make the picture less ironic.

Does this not count as a self-own goal?

The spec ops assets were taken out pretty early. It was the tech and the new leadership scheme take drove it home though.

It was infantry but it was USMC infantry so it wasn’t as outmatched as you think. If it were Army infantry, I would say that it was like that soccer match between the boys club and the US women’s team.

Oh yeah and I came across my favorite Russian word again, "недоговороспособны," I guess it means something like "not capable of making an agreement," or "can't be expected to keep any agreement." How can other languages get along without a word like this when we get stuck with these types on a regular basis?
