What a disgustingly disingenuous crock of shit. From the sound of it, giving a "trans" kid a checkup and a flu shot is now a serious crime. Also, the statement about how stupid the legislature is for banning trans surgery when they don't even give kids irreversible surgeries yet is great. Like they should wait until after a few dozen 13 year olds have unnecessary mastectomies or castrations first before they make so bigoted a judgement. And I'm sure that it's never once happened, just like every TRA claims no one's butchering children, while there's blatant evidence of surgeons marketing to minors and plenty of news articles of stunning and brave kids going under the knife.

what reversible surgeries are there?,And also puberty blockers are not reversible if you use them to stop puberty! I hate that argument so much. Like yes, theoretically a kid can take lupron for a year and not end up with serious problems, but the goal of any kid going on puberty blocking is specifically not to stop it. These kids believe that puberty will destroy them, so they will avoid it at all costs, and that is where the long term harm occurs! And you see this in the numbers, the vast majority of kids who go on puberty blockers keep going with the transition, because it's all a goddamn placebo effect+magical thinking, and they keep being pushed in that direction by enablers. We don't even have a clear logic for how HRT is supposed to help people outside of helping them pass, but they still think giving it to preteens is lifesaving despite there being no evidence, even in the fucking Netherlands that came up with the idea. Fucking lunacy.


On the peaking thing, I have to say that while I was aware of AGP before coming here (read Darwin's Middle Finger for a really good account of how the trans movement silenced the research into it, plus a bunch of other examples of ideology trumping science), reading the troon acounts here, especially the phrase "euphoria boners" and everything about "cracking eggs", really set me over the edge from a mild distaste, to active opposition and hatred. When you read what they are writing, it's quite clear that it's not just about keeping to themselves and living their lives, it's active recruitment and invasion of women's spaces. I've used some of the screenshots from here to peak a family member. It really is the most effective thing to use what troons are saying themselves.

Adding some points to the puberty blockers thing. It's not even clear if puberty blockers do anything positive for the children that transition.

There is no evidence that it helps their mental health and hormone therapy is not magic, you are still left with a body devoid of a mature sexual reproductive system that ironically makes any further step in transitioning harder. (Remember Jazz's entire problem with surgery?). Also, you are unable to feel any kind of pleasure from sex since those parts never developed and you can't say children don't need that, because they are going to grow up and get partner whom they will be unable to be intimate with.

I have 3 things to blame, first is the all-around decay of family morals and values (fatherless kids, abusive households, junkie mothers, parents who straight up dgaf about what their kids are up to, what they're reading, who are their influences, who they hang out with irl and on the internet, i'm not saying helicopter parents are better, but having just a spec of interest on your child's development when they aren't in your inmediate area).

Second is the social and political push from the higherups in our society to make this and other degenate shit appear as normal to the public, specially the younger demographics that are known to rebel just for the sake of being different from their parents generation. (you gotta get them while they're still young, impressionable and stupid, maybe down the line you'll get an adult too).

The third one is the internet and social media making it so easy for this kind of behavior to root itself and mature into echo chambers, to spread, to make it seem like everyone's on board with it. You got places like tumblr, twitter and discord where if you're an emotional kid who's confused or doesn't feel right with themselves be it by X or Y reason, you'll enter these spaces in search for answers or some comfort, then you'll be pulled into deeper echo chambers and then you'll be trapped by the claws of these malicious communities that are always on the look for more potential members, preying on the emotionally weak or the vulnerable who look for places to escape their often misfortunate conditions of living. They'll tell you that it's totally fine to do atrocious things to yourself as long as it's for your own good, that it's everyones fault expect yours, they'll tell you the words you want to hear so you can mistake these total strangers as people you know and you believe they care for you, when in reality, they do it to drag others down to their level so they can be miserable together, or they do it for all the good-boy points and validation that other scum give them for doing this kind of things.

All around, it's a bad time to be a kid or a teen with issues on the internet.
