Why do they think hormones are magic? The only thing cross-sex hormones can do to your bones is make them brittle, it's not magical wizard juice.
So, there are some interesting effects of estrogen on pelvis shape, at least in real women. Some of the connections between the bones are somewhat flexible and estrogen does widen them, to prepare them for possibly giving birth. So there are studies that show that the hips widen when fertility peaks and then later, narrow a bit during menopause when the hormone levels drop a bit.
However, these changes are all within the baseline dimensions that nature sets normally anyway. I don't think a male exposed to unhealthy, unnatural amounts of exogenous estrogen is going to develop "child-birthing hips" (what a gross weirdo, btw). Maybe wider hips? But probably not by much.
And yeah, you're probably right, in that any bone changes are probably going to be 90% mineral loss. When you hear about troons getting smaller feet or getting shorter, that's because they're artificially inducing osteoporosis, not because they're uwu being transformed into females (they're not, that's not a thing).
It's kinda like ftms (or just steroid abusers, like East German olympic athletes) might be able to roid out their clit with testosterone. But at the end of the day, they still missed the
masculinization programming window in utero. If you miss that window, no amount of testosterone is going to turn a clitoris into a penis. It just turns into, well, a roided out clit.
And that's fine if that's your weird fetish. I'm just not going to pay for it. Nor am I going to entertain science fiction arguments that have actual political implications for women.
