I am going to add I think Wings unlike Phil actually had some genuine talent in Call of Duty. Like Wings at one point in the early years of cod on YouTube people I think genuinely valued what Wings had to say about Cod. Phil was never respected in the fighting game community.

If Wings just stopped throwing an eternal pity party for himself and got his life together he could have came back. People like a winner and they like a come back story. If he came out and apologized for all the bs over the years I think quite a few people would stop trolling him.

Phil, has always been a loser. Remember, Wings got laid-off Phil got fired.

Edit: I don't think everyone will suddenly forget things like Wings saying the age of content should be 12 and all that shit and I know it will never happen.

I bust out the power level like that to point out the difference here: Phil and Khet do NOT make time to enjoy their lives. They don't have monthly date nights, where they go out and celebrate life or enjoy one another's company. They're both such bad shut ins even the fucking shut in autists make fun of them. To them, 'going out' is physically going to burger king. They are the types of people who *should* celebrate anniversaries, because it's actually an occasion to celebrate and go out.

Also, they weren't a live in couple for any amount of time before their 'marriage', Phil realized he could get a maid, Khet realized she could mooch off an e-begger, bing bang boom, horse marriage. They don't have the excuse of 'it's been so long, we don't even think about it.' Mind, I don't think Khet gives a fuck either. So, it's not like Phil is just being an autist and refusing to drop the money or time on his beloved horse. Neither of them give a shit about this sham.

TL;DR: As marriages lose their 'special' status, so too do anniversaries. Also, Phil and Khet are less married, more room-mates, so why should they do anything?

I totally agree with you, marriage doesn't have to be a big deal for everyone. However, what is the problem is that Phill blames his financial status for not celebrating. In the video, he stated that he doesn't have enough money to go out and stuff. The problem here is that he said that while playing a 60$ game on a 300$ Nintendo Switch while having a PS5 in the background that cost more than 500$ in its pick time back in 2021.

If he doesn't want to go out for his anniversary, go for it. It's not a problem in any way. What's a problem is that he blames his financial status for it, while it's obvious that he doesn't know how to spend his money correctly.

Just wanted to add onto this because I had a thought about Phil's pay schedule. Phil has always struggled to understand something he hasn't experienced/think about what others are going through, and it's been years since he had to work a real job. I think he forgot people don't get paid every single day. He acts like his paypigs are letting him down because tips vary from day to day, and in his mind, they're choosing not to donate on those specific days instead of reasonably thinking that they're just tapped out.

This might be pedantic, but you can really tell how much of this is faux cry when he complains that Lego Star Wars is "60 plus tips." I remember being super poor, tax was one of the first things I thought of when going to the store. I had to sit there and calculate tax to see if I had enough. There's no way a guy crying about being this poor wouldn't know the exact price of the game with tax included.

Three years is still in the newlywed territory. It's really weird Phil isn't celebrating his third year of marriage right after saying he helped his wife the person he says makes him feel like everyday is the best day of his life make a homemade birthday cake for him.

Not taking it seriously is a small dinner for 2 at home. Not celebrating is not caring at all.

Highly doubtful since Phil is far too cowardly for that. He's too much of a coward to get drugs from criminals, since he is so paranoid about going out into his gated community just to look for a package. Anything that has him knowingly putting himself in danger is too much for Phillip. Besides the bank leaks showed that after just his gin, gacha and doordash wastings, he barely had enough to pay his real bills.

His looking like shit comes more from not taking any kind of care of himself. He sees at most a few hours of sunlight once a week at best, barely does anything resembling exercise once a week (doing basic chores you assign a child to teach them about earning money like laundry gets his adrenaline going) and I'd bet that most of what he orders on doordash are usual greasy takeaway food. Phil's awful health is all from his lack of care towards his own body.

He should know how much a 60 game should cost with tax since he has paying that much for damn near a fucking decade. If he genuinely doesn't know how much it is then he is more of a retarrr than his wheelchairs.

Plus did he actually refer to what should be tax as "tips" or was that a typo? Because both are believeable at this point.

Phil doesn't realize how spoiled that sandwich comment makes him out to be. He treats the thought of eating a simple sandwich like it's extreme hardship. Setting aside the fact that his money problems are his own fault, this shows how much his doordash addiction has gotten to him.

With some patience and foresight he could’ve taken his Machinima Fuck You money and had a house built to his hikki specs including all the modcons he foolishly elected to go without (central air springs to mind) and then owned the house and the land (which is where the real equity is) but no, he needed to get him and his bait girlfriend as far away from their respective families as fast as possible.

He may as well have just bought a home on the fucking internet without ever having so much as walked through it.

I covered this in the psychology thread around his addiction to copium. The tldr of it is that he has constructed a world completely seperate from anyone else and has no idea what its like in the real world. Its been like that since moving to the wakhando with signs of it in earlier vids (usually when complaining/attacking detractors)

Phil is an alien living in Renton.
