Someone at Nintendo America/Europe forgot to delay the pre-load copies so people who originally pre-ordered the game have gotten access to the game
Game was supposed to come out on April 8th before it was delayed because of muh Ukraine war.

Remember he's just a larper who tries too hard to act like he's a knowledgeable dude.
Hopefully that will just force Nintendo’s hand and make them release it already. Given that this conflict is probably going to go on for a long time, is anyone expecting Call of Duty to delay a title? The fact that this is a cartoon strategy game makes it all the more ridiculous

I'm more going Holy Shit at the fact they forgot to turn the auto release off for pre orders.
It's not exactly the first time Nintendo has problems in handling their own eshop and digital stuff.
There was a (sorta) similar situation with the release of the season pass of Zelda Age of Calamity as you could get the purchase bonus for free directly in the eshop, and it would count as owning the entire season pass as a result. Of course, Nintendo later patched the exploit but also remotely revoked the keys of the season pass for everyone including me, until I actually purchased it (the big N only allowed me to keep said purchase bonus). Dunno if there were further instances besides that one.

Likewise, people who managed to get their digital copy of Advance Wars 1+2 earlier than the indefinite release date (due of the delay) should now keep their consoles in airplane mode.

According to another user, this is tradition at this point as the first advanced wars was also delayed due to a on going war.
Ostensibly for the European release, but who knows. Wikipedia says it was released in January '02, which sounds about right for how European versions of games were late compared to American ones, regardless. The American version was the first one out the door, serendipitously released on September 10th, 2001. The Wikipedia article also mentions that the Japanese version got released as a bundle all the way into '04 not because of 9/11, but because they didn't want to cannibalize sales of Game Boy Wars 3.

Speaking of this series, you could also play as Hetler in the SNES version:

which also makes for an excellent pfp

There won't be a COD this year anyways, since they can't keep up the pace for yearly releases anymore (think vanguard poor reception + seeing the shitshow that was the latest battlefield made them rethink their yearly schedule, plus they got warzone bringing in money anyways).
I still can't wrap my head around the delay, if anything it feels like an excuse because they couldn't finish the game in time... but this proved that theory wrong.

My fear is that Nintendo will eventually release it, but with the barest amount of marketing, essentially killing off the franchise before it can even begin again. It already felt like they were underselling it before the delay.

Why are you guys surprised? This is a company that makes you use your phone for voice chat. There are probably execs that are still pissed they have online infrastructure at all.
You say that like it is a bad thing.

Games were fun and great before voice chat ruined everything and started the slow slide into social engineering from within. Fuck voice chat. Use a text box or, better yet use a based and funpilled VGS menu like the Tribes games used. VGTG

Absolutely disagree. Gaming was at its best when everyone could call each other niggers. Party chat killed online gaming.

In fact, I'll add that I will never forgive Nintendo for refusing me the opportunity to call children niggers in mario kart.

Every time I read a post written by Radical Cadre, I feel he is a FBI nigger planted by Nintendo to promote and defend the company lmao.

Completed the True Ending in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The last string of bosses did prove to be actually challenging and I heard Ultimate Cup Z can take it to another level.
Not exactly looking to do a 100% run personally but the game has been really fun even if relatively simple. It's strong contender as my GOTY 2022 alongside of Atelier Sophie 2, but there is still a decently-sized competition of games (I plan to play) on the Switch this year (Triangle Strategy, Gensou Shoujo Wars, EDF 4.1 for NSW, Kiki Kaikai, 13 Sentinels and Xenoblade 3 at least)

Speaking of Kiki Kaikai/Rocky & Pocky, I already did my pre-order on the japanese eshop. I'll fill in more details with screenshots and videos in the future.

>someone calls you a slur in a game
>submit it to the government so they can pull their utilities
>not even offended, just funny watching them disconnect from the game for an extended period as their life is turned upside down
>they have no power, figuratively and literally

Such is life
But Terry Davis was right.

Even if he was, that doesn't take away the humor of the situation.

The rules may change, but you can still troll others just as much as you could back in the late 80's. You have to be willing to adapt and overcome obstacles yourself.
True. But god I still miss Terry Davis.

It is. The true final boss, Chaos Elfilis, is quite the challenge.

Unlike the other 2 cups, there are no Maxim Tomatoes in the arena lobby, so you won't have multiple oppurtunities to fully restore your health. Also, like the video posted above, I recommend fighting him with the Morpho Knight sword (if you have enough rare stones to do so, fully upgrade it before the fight). Also wouldn't hurt to bring a health item/stat boost item into the fight.

He's tough, which makes it all the more satisfying when you beat him.

Not the game I expected to make a comeback. I hope that Muramasa Rebirth, Dragon's Crown and Odin's Sphere comes next in the future.

The only game out of those that even /needs/ a shitch port is Muramasa Rebirth as all the other games are easily accessible on consoles that aren't DITW.

I'm happy that GrimGrimoire is getting a remaster though, it's the one game left that VW made that was still locked to its original released for the hardcopy.

Trailer for GrimGrimoire OnceMore remaster came out, and the official website is live
