And to top all of that off how much do you think the cops actually care about the government at this point? Sure you can talk about how cops are the dogs of the state and jackboot thugs and all that other shit but the fact of the matter is that it's still a soul crushing and largely thankless profession, especially over the past decade or so and even more so following the summer of love. The politicians were more than happy to throw cops under the bus and degrade them to save their own skins, the need for constant retraining and seminars, the fact that everyone including the people you work for seems to fucking hate you is a bad feeling. Maybe it's just too much optimism but I can't imagine that most cops care to break this up.

Yes. I'm up north too. I'm from the other side of the rockies where there isn't humidity. They had a heatwave in Missouri this year and I was there for it. 103. I about died. I went home and it hit 112. I was push mowing my lawn without a care. It hits different over here.

But the deep negatives. Especially where the F and C match up. Miss me on that. Boogers freezing is my limit. Pay me. Done that shit for too little for too long. Everything just sucks and nothing works and you are just spinning your wheels getting nothing done. Rope me in to tard wrangle, when I could be home making warm soups, and I'd better be compensated handsomely.

So an update from one organizers so apparently it looks like another even bigger operation is in the works it's going to take time and it is organized. But I'll let you know more information about this when I get some.

It's perfectly believable. I think the Toronto one is a split off of the group. They've got lot of trucks outside Ottawa they can send elsewhere last I checked.

For some reason I can't send the video it's saved and archived but for reference. Apparently within a month the us convoy is being pushed back to prepare for extra planning. The Canadian convoy took 7months of planning. But so far it seems like alot of leafs and more Americans will be involved in this convoy so it makes me wonder.

There isn't anything stopping them from refunding everyone but they very well may lack the ability to automatically do it because they are poorly organized. Back when Null cancelled the GFM for Chris there wasn't an automated process and he had to go through customer service to cancel it. Sounded like they had to manually process everything. But they didn't require people to opt in and they didn't steal the funds. This is clearly set up to funnel money away from as many people as possible by keeping them in the dark. For those who do ask for their money back it'll be tied for several days at least, perhaps long enough that the protest will be over before it can be resent.

It'll most likely be fine, GiveSendGo is doing good right now (with 213,000 raised) and its trending hard in Canada. I doubt even 10% of those tweets are from anti-convoy posters.

I'm sure word will get out and most people will get their money back but even just one misappropriated dollar remaining in GFM's hands is bad. The best ending would be all 10Mil being refunded sticking GFM without the 1Mil they already paid out and less the processing fees that MC/Visa will be keeping while the donors get full refunds.
