Ohhhh that gave me such a horrible mental image, having come here right after the Troon Surgery Horrors thread. :o
DNR groping trannies of any op status. You're in arms reach and that's way too close. Imagine the smell, after all. Use a mirror to defend yourself instead, like Medusa they cannot stand the sight of their own face.

Why is it always niggers and white trash that review these? And lol, we can call those lashes on the nigress for ghettolashes, because damn those look fake.
And something looking "expensive" with the white trash in a fucking hoodie and skinny jeans. Looks normal yea, but not at all the kind of person that wears designer stuff.
It just looks so weird when a poor wear a 2000 usd bag

And it's one thing to hoard genuine designer purses, but it just seems more sad to hoard a bunch of fakes.
The reactions were just obnoxious and nothing in those hype-boxes they opened had anything nice.

Wannabe elf-lady, you look horrifying with the lashes on too.
I'm not against fur, but that jacket is horrible. That patchy thing is just too much, keep it to one colour.
Buying from aliexpress seems a bad idea. Buying a lot of duds before finding something good can get more expensive than just buying the real thing. And the fact you have to wait so long ,that you are risk for forgetting that you even ordered something.
Looks like a mom in her 30's trying way too hard at being 20. That cleavage is just inappropriate and right in your face, and I bet she's whining about dudes looking at her boobs.
Dude, just why? You aren't using most of them, do you even know what shoes are intended for? You don't even have to worry about them because they're cheap, and they will pass better as real in public. As people really don't pay attention to some strangers shoes.
God, this shit is exhausting to skim through at 2x speed, or else I would never get done with (all of) them.

I've discovered a new game: Spot the non-filtered person.
Every single woman in these things is filtered.

I just realized what was freaking me out in these videos, and it's surprisingly not the overly filtered Asian women. In their houses, everything is artificial. Everything is just a different durability of plastic. There's nothing organic to the point that even the food and plants looks fake. It's actual "Life is Plastic, It's Fantastic".

Those aren't women.

I shouldn't be shocked. But I'm shocked. But damn, I'll give it to this guy for being entertaining.
"What do teenage girls wear?"

These days, who knows. I lived in the age when the bellbottom made a comeback. It was a terrible time for all.

Fumos are a weird case though at least in the west. They don't export those outside of Japan and they only make them in limited quantities that are sold in periodic drops. To even get those outside of Japan you need to know someone "on the inside" as it were, get them to buy it for you, then mail it internationally, those things are expensive because there is a genuine (albeit somewhat artificial) scarcity to them. Still consoomerism but there's a bit more to them than hundred-a-penny shit like Funkos.

PS: Just to add onto what I was saying since i think it requires a bit more clarification. Having one single Fumo is some serious weeb clout, if you can amass even three or four Fumos you are the de-facto King of Weebs at least for your local area/cons.

Fumos are cute and not soulless like Funkopops, but having more than like 2-3 looks kinda ridiculous. All things in moderation.
I'd say paying like 300 bucks for one would be pretty bad though unless you're someone so rich that that's basically pocket change.

Like I said, it's still consooming a way overpriced anime plush but it is an actual collector's market at least outside of Japan and at least until someone manages to mass export them and crash the market through oversupplying. All I wanted to bring attention to is that Fumos have at least a little bit more nuance to them than Funkos and that they are an aspirational item for many weebs that most people either cannot easily afford or even in some cases straight up cannot get a hold of due to the aforementioned scarcity.

I get they are kinda cute and all but for 500$ you can get a really badass statue instead and have money to spare. For less i could get the entire Akira manga on hardcover.

Isn't there an etsy market filling in the gaps in demand? It would probably be cheaper to pay someone for a custom bootleg with good materials and it'd be intrinsically the same thing.

I've never done anything like it but these plushies are simple enough that i feel if i put my mind to it one afternoon and watch some tuts even i would figure out how to make one. Making custom plushies and amigurumi is very common in weeb circles, lots of weeby kids do it and that DIY aspect is pretty nice.

These fumos honestly look just like those claw catcher machine plushies to me. They might be better made but they're pretty identical style wise.
