I’m Disgusted’: Biden Voter, Longtime Dem, Sounds Off on President, VP
A longtime Democratic voter who cast a ballot for Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris says he’s “disgusted” with both of them a year after taking office, while also expressing concerns over the party’s extreme left-wing shift.
“A year in and I’m disgusted with them both. I’m disgusted with [Vice President] Kamala Harris and Joe Biden,” Isaiah Carter, a black New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) worker and member of the Democratic Party, told Fox News.
Specifically, Carter lashed out at his party’s embrace of critical race theory as well as Biden’s hamfisted, chaotic, and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan as the issues he’s most disappointed in. In addition, he ripped the president’s COVID-19 policies and his administration’s pushing of gender ideology issues, especially among school-aged kids.
The MTA employee told Fox News he has voted for Democratic presidential nominees for the past four cycles and has donated to Democrats for 16 years. In 2020, he did not support then-President Donald Trump or his administration but also had reservations about left-wing candidates like Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont, eventually going with Biden and Harris because he believed they were the “safest choice.”
“I donated to Biden … I supported Kamala Harris from day one … I even starred in Biden’s victory video ‘America the Beautiful,’” Carter said, in reference to a post-election video posted to Biden’s YouTube page.
“I did more than I’ve ever done in my entire life for any candidate whatsoever, and I’m disgusted,” the 40-year-old from Brooklyn added.
His remarks come as approval ratings for both Biden and Harris have cratered. The president’s rating in a rolling CIVIQS average of approval polls earlier this month had fallen to 35 percent. In early November, respondents to a USA Today poll gave Harris just 28 percent approval.
“I don’t like critical race theory,” Carter told Fox News. “Critical race theory is a Trojan horse that has a lot of darker elements hiding inside.
“I don’t like the idea of kids – Black kids, White kids, whatever – separated by race and then made to feel like one group is oppressed and the other group is not,” he continued.
Regarding Afghanistan, Carter declared: “I’m not upset that we left, I’m upset about how we left.”
He added that the president did too little to ensure U.S. military equipment was secured or evacuated, as well as protecting American forces during the evacuation.
“The video of refugees dropping from C-17s to their deaths will haunt this presidency and will haunt this country for decades to come,” he predicted before going on to address Biden’s pandemic performance.
“I don’t like where we are now with COVID,” Carter said, adding that initially, the administration did a good job distributing vaccines that were developed in record time under Trump. But he ripped Biden for continuing to push mandates and restrictions he does not believe comport with scientific data.
Fox News notes further:
Finally, Carter said Biden’s use of Title VII and IX to promote progressives’ gender identity agenda has harmed women’s rights and has negatively affected young children who are being subjected to gender ideology discussions in schools across the country.
His first day in office Biden signed an executive order expanding federal laws that prohibit sex discrimination to include discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
“If I had known Biden was this much of a genderist … there’s no way I would have voted for that man,” Carter said.
Describing himself as a “classical” liberal, Carter said he believes the Democratic Party has lurched way too far to the left.
“Democrats, I need you to listen to me carefully,” Carter said. “The fact that I, a blue-collar Democratic worker, am speaking to Fox News, should scare you.”
He added: “The fact that they’re willing to talk to me and MSNBC and CNN are not, that is a problem. That should tell you all how far we’ve fallen away from the common man.”
Stretching already stretched to the breaking point resources even thinner.Democrats to devote resources to 7 more House lawmakers facing tough re-elections
Here's the list of newly vulnerable House Dem incumbents:(article)
The growing list of vulnerable Democrats underscores the uphill battle the party faces in the midterms.
WASHINGTON — House Democrats added seven names Thursday to their list of vulnerable incumbents in need of party resources heading into the challenging midterm elections.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, or DCCC, the campaign arm of House Democrats, increased the number of lawmakers it sees as prime GOP targets in November to 32.
The updated list comes as Democrats face an uphill battle to defend their majority in the House, where they cannot afford to lose more than four seats.
Almost twice as many Democrats as Republicans have said they are not seeking re-election this year. On top of that, a recent NBC News poll found that overwhelming majorities of Americans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
And then there is history to contend with: The president’s party typically loses seats in the administration’s first midterm election.
“The fight for the House is really a district-by-district strategy,” DCCC Executive Director Tim Persico said. “I understand what the precedent is, but I think ... these are kind of unprecedented times.”
Among the seven lawmakers added to the so-called Frontline list are moderates Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey, Dan Kildee of Michigan and Jennifer Wexton of Virginia. They and others on the list will get increased support from the party in their re-election campaigns.
With Wexton’s addition, all three of Virginia’s female representatives are now Frontliners.
Some lawmakers who had been on the list were removed, mainly because redistricting will pit them against fellow Democrats, including Rep. Haley Stevens Michigan, who will face off against Rep. Andy Levin, and Reps. Lucy McBath and Carolyn Bourdeaux, who will square off against each other in Georgia.
So far, 29 House Democrats have announced they that will not seek re-election in the fall. Jim Cooper of Tennessee is the latest, announcing Tuesday that he will not run again after having served in Congress for 16 terms.
The list of vulnerable Democrats is being updated as Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer prepares to retire. Asked about the impact of Breyer’s departure on the election, Persico said the focus on the courts could shine a spotlight on Republican policies and benefit Democrats at the polls.
“If the Supreme Court becomes more of a focus for people or Roe v. Wade is rolled back in some way, that will bring to focus, like, ‘Oh, [Republicans] were serious. They’ve been saying it for 50 years, but I can’t believe they actually meant it,’” he said.
Still, any confirmation battle over President Joe Biden’s nominee could be a double-edged sword: A progressive pick could just as easily energize conservatives in opposition.
While Democrats identified their own incumbents they see as vulnerable Thursday, they also named Republicans they are targeting, including Rep. Peter Meijer of Michigan, who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump, and Rep. Andy Harris of Maryland, a Trump loyalist.
Democrats also voiced some optimism, saying they have identified more than a dozen new congressional districts they consider to be “in play” because of redistricting, bringing the total to 38.
The chair of the DCCC, Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney of New York, said Democrats plan to campaign on “a record of delivering for the American people by fighting to end this pandemic, rebooting our economy and putting millions of Americans to work rebuilding America.”
Biden’s performance between now and November will play a significant role in who controls the House next year, particularly as Republicans look to make the midterms a referendum on his presidency.

That's not true about the recluses right? It's kinda like brown recluses. Weird analogy, I know, but bear with me. If you see a brown recluse spider scuttle across your kitchen floor, it could mean that one's wandered into your house and is trying to run away. What's incredibly more likely, however, is that there are so many brown recluses hiding in your house that they now feel as if it's safe to venture out into open spaces. Extremely minor pushback occurring in positions like this is an every day thing. How many times has your boss told you to do something that you don't want to do? It tends to get done, but you're still allowed to grumble about it. However, larger incidents of pushback, like turning your back on your commanding officer, is much, much rarer. If you're at the point where you turn their back on them and everybody around you doesn't watch to see what your commanding officer will do, but instead turns alongside you...
That commanding officer's house is probably more brown recluse than wood at that point. And going back to your point, it's almost certainly a generally shared sentiment if we're seeing incidents like that occur. Am I reading too much into that? Maybe. But incidents like that, by definition, really can't happen in isolation. I think something might be about to shift.
In your case it might not have actually been a brown recluse (people commonly confuse grass spiders and cellar spiders for them) or depending on the weather it may have found its way inside trying to escape cold or a flood. That's not true about the recluses right?
I saw one on my desk a few months ago hiding under my keyboard and if that's a true thing you've just said I'm never sleeping ever again

Can you give me some idea of what that actually means for those of us who are very ignorant on the subject of how political funding works. So, the DNC borrows money from, like a bank? Has used this to fund campaigning around the country and now can't pay it back? Can they actually go broke? What happens if they do? And when does all this debt come due? They're paying interest on it, I presume? So are they spiralling? In fact, how the fuck do they expect to pay off debt in the first place? They don't exactly have earnings. Is it just a corruption thing - "when we're in power, we'll do favours and there'll be donations or debt write-offs"?Stretching already stretched to the breaking point resources even thinner.
And the best part of this, there is no saving your resources for 2024. They utterly failed to pay off their debts and are -deep- in the red... and that situation only compounds after 2022.
Next time you are at the store buy a pack of these and set them up in your house. If you really do have a spider infestation you will start to see them show up in these traps. That's not true about the recluses right?

Why does everything that relates to Biden come off fake as fuck?
He's a fake president. Why does everything that relates to Biden come off fake as fuck?
Seriously, how can anyone look at that chart and take anything on that or what comes out of his mouth seriously?
Why does anything chart related to Biden always look phony as fuck?!
3AM voting totals measured via a straight vertical line. Why does anything chart related to Biden always look phony as fuck?!
It's my favorite Ohio District. It's technically supposed to represent Toledo, but as you can see, it's covers more than a few old Rust Belt cities. It's almost a perma-blue district, but I think it's pretty much a containment, keeps the old union strongholds from fucking with the more rural areas in the northern part of the state. It went almost 60-40 Biden though, so don't hold your breath. Shame too, it covers the other nice part of the state, the Lake Erie Islands.Democrats to devote resources to 7 more House lawmakers facing tough re-elections

Just invite some black widows in. The black widows and brown recluses will have a turf war, which the widows will win. Then you just have to live with black widows (surprisingly they're not all that bad, they mostly pick a corner or stack of wood and just chill there, whereas recluses will actively hunt)That's not true about the recluses right?

This is the same Pelosi who literally tried to gain access to the Nuclear football shortly before the 2020 election. (Hint: The only reason she would want the nuclear football for herself would be a false flag. Blocking Trump's access is NOT the same thing as her taking the access for herself.)If Pelosi really said that then she should be removed from office this second, because Defend is not the end of that sentence.
FuckIt's true, burn your house down.
Pelosi, via her kids, was implicated as much as Hunter Biden was in the Ukraine, if not moreso. There's a reason they're all getting very very awkward and desperate about the region -- if Putin takes it, he'll have all the blackmail material he could ever dream of on every major Uniparty elite.Yeah no, I still have a major issue with it.
They do not take an oath to "PROTECT AND DEFEND" tm
They take an oath to PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION"
Pelosi has no oath to protect and defend Ukraine.
It'd be really goddamn funny if we got a "Ukraine Papers" released just like those panama papers. It coming post the sacking of Kiev would be peak 2022.Pelosi, via her kids, was implicated as much as Hunter Biden was in the Ukraine, if not moreso. There's a reason they're all getting very very awkward and desperate about the region -- if Putin takes it, he'll have all the blackmail material he could ever dream of on every major Uniparty elite.
And just like the Panama Papers, 99.999% of the population won't hear about it or care beyond a shrugging "What are you going to do? The only people in a position to do anything about it are the ones who are implicated. They're not going to arrest themselves."It'd be really goddamn funny if we got a "Ukraine Papers" released just like those panama papers. It coming post the sacking of Kiev would be peak 2022.
