Checked it myself and yeah you misread it. It's D+4 not D+30.

I guess Biden might be beating Trump in this poll because of that 16% who would vote but don't like either of them? Needless to say, Ross Perot isn't making a comeback so in 2024 I think most of that group would vote Trump because he's not the incumbent and Biden is.

Woops. And this is part of why I say to take everything I say with a grain of salt. Why the fuck even add a cumulative column though, that's just... weird.

I mean, my original issue of it being all adults without consideration for registered or likely voters still stands.

Correct. While they are definitely over sampling Dems they aren't dumb enough to straight up poll 54% registered Dem voters.

The fuckery is in the overall party lean which is wildly skewed. For those that responded 35% leaned Democrat and 23% Republican, +12D. Independent voters have been trending 60%+ GOP in recent polling.

I mean does anyone actually think Biden is sitting on a 45% approval rating?

This is weird to add but every poll has its own quirks. Definitely caught me when I skimmed! In hindsight, the 100% below that shoulda tipped me off but again, skimming.

It's not a poll it's a survey. So it's the percentage that respond to each question and then the percentages for each multiple choice answer.

Seriously who the fuck has the time to sit down and give a series of answers to questions about the supreme court, abortion, 2A and old shits in his pants?

The excuse is that they can't find enough GOP leaning voters willing to take part, which is probably true. But this is deliberate, make it as unfathomably boring as possible so only liberal boomers will want to waste their time on the phone. This 'poll' will now be included in the average and will juice up Biden's overall approval.

It's the first time since the George W Bush administration that a cat has been in the White House.
It comes just weeks after the Bidens’ welcomed the German shepherd Commander into the family.
“Welcome to the White House, Commander,” read a tweet from the official POTUS Twitter account from December 20.
A photo was posted of the pup with a ball in its mouth.
A video of Commander was posted with the caption: "Meet the newest Biden".
"Hey, pal! How you doing? How are you?" said the President when greeting the pup.
The Bidens' German shepherd Champ died at the age of 13 in June last year.
In a heartbreaking statement, the first family said: "He was our constant, cherished companion during the last 13 years."
Biden added: "In our most joyful moments and in our most grief-stricken days, he was there with us, sensitive to our every unspoken feeling and emotion."
