People are people, so I don't have a distaste for anybody outside of what they individually do. With that said... oh, boy.
It's not enough to not split the skull of a homosexual or otherwise abuse them on sight, you have to be an "ally". It's not enough that homosexuals be granted a legal union status distinct from that of that named "marriage", they need to be able to be married the same way as a man and a woman (not that state marriage is worth it, but this is relevant). It's not enough that they're able to be married by the state, they need to have their celebration validated by anyone they go to (like bakeries), and-- soon, if it hasn't already started-- they need to be able to be married in even a church that has no ceremony for homosexual matrimony on account of rejecting the concept.
It's not enough that depicting homosexuals in media is no longer taboo, there needs to be more gay and "queer" (a term that becomes more loaded by the second at an exponential rate) "representation"-- in fact, straight people need to be depicted less.
It's not enough that we keep our noses out of what goes on in their bedrooms-- we need to support whatever it is they're doing in their bedrooms. No, wait, we need to see and hear what's going on in their bedrooms. No, wait, we need to be in their bedrooms.
"Transsexual" used to be the sterile term to refer to those afflicted with the disposition-- all of a sudden, for no reason whatsoever, that term became offensive. They insist they were actually born "into the wrong body", yet they have to learn how to be "their true gender" after being socialized (and largely behaving and thinking) according to their birth sex and the according to said sex's puberty, and in effect have no connection whatsoever to "their true gender" outside their inexplicable desire to be it. They claim to merely want to be left alone, but they demand that you grant them easier access to mutilation and poisoning methods that they call "life-saving"-- even if they're at greater risk of an earlier death by natural causes due to them-- and almost immediately afterwards they insist that you respect their gender self-identification (regardless of their effort). Therefore, they call you to participate in all stages of their delusion, and there's no way to personally accommodate them without doing so. When you even hint at a refusal to do so to even a quantum of a degree, you're then accused of "trans genocide" before many start scheming to ruin your life.
It gets worse: because they insist that they were born into the wrong body, it's not enough to say that SRS and HRT be restricted to adults. They and their allies tell you that "trans teens" and "trans children" need to be put on "puberty blockers" so they don't have to deal with greater gender dysphoria as their bodies mature according to their sex. They lie to you, saying that the effects are reversible and that there's no side effects-- even though universal pubertal changes such as bone density increasing as well as critical brain development occur, and even though reversibility would be pointless if "trans teens" and "trans children" truly needed these puberty blockers. They also groom children into transgenderism, and coach them on how to get a dysphoria diagnosis as well as what drugs can best poison them.
And speaking of child abuse: Money ordered the full castration of a David Reimer and had him crossdress as well as engage in sexual contact with his brother, and both of them killed themselves in their adulthoods after at least David outright said the experiment was a massive failure, and yet both him and his work continue to enjoy adulation and usage within the movement. Kinsey either paid parents to molest their infant children to determine if they could achieve orgasm, or did it himself during his studies (which were generally-- to employ the most appropriate scientific descriptor-- bullshit), and yet both him and his work continue to enjoy adulation and usage within the movement. Just as important is that their work has been legitimized outside the community, as well.
What does it mean when a movement that's built on the backs of those who would violate children never disavows such people, instead lauds them as they sweep their transgressions under the rug, and bears nothing intrinsic that would mandate or can even facilitate the excision of-- at minimum-- their personal legacies?
The LGBTQ+ movement is overall motivated by an unending gluttony for greater external validation and greater privilege-- in effect, it demands sanction for self-worship and that others participate in said self-worship. Any accomplishment of theirs that you could even rationalize as good, even if it objectively did make better the lives of people who just wanted to live in some level of comfort, has been ill-gotten. And the day may come when the legacy of the movement is properly tested by fire.
Should that day come, not even the ashes will remain. There won't be any "back" worth going to for that movement, or even those who so much as indirectly benefited from it.
