from what little i’ve seen of bird and trixie, bird has always been very open arms about her transition and about digi wanting to feel like a woman. this ties p well with may saying digi “wanted a real man” pushing may away from transitioning in the process.
Bird brings to digi’s life a sense of security (even tho neither probably earns much of anything) that a woman like may could never really bring. honestly this probably just boils down to bird pampering and kissing up to digi just like may did but with the added sense of “i dont have to work, i dont have to plan ahead, i dont have to provide, im a woman i go with the flow”.
Bird and May are basically the same person, the only difference being that as a woman May naturally pushed digi towards thinking responsably about their future (digi very specifically mentioned their plans to have kids and have a sort of regular suburban life).
As much as this saga has been p boring outside of shit like the Ralph fight and Ben’s constant obsession i’m very interested to see what kind of person digi ends up going after when the bird bubble pops (if it does).

I'm still in disbelief that Digi took the troon thing seriously. He is the king of not going through with anything.

I genuinely think he decided to go all in because May broke up with him, and this is all just some weird flex to prove to her that he can commit to something. It's fucking sad, seeing a human change their entire life overnight in the most negative ways possible and desperately trying to spin that this is the way they really are and he's sooooo H A P P Y being homeless and getting buttfucked by some "straight" guy who totally is expanding his worldview by smoking weed and being antivaxx.

The worst part is, I think there's a tiny part of his mind that knows how irreparably fucked his life has become. "I'm so surprised I made it another month."

I read this as them trying to spin smoking weed and visiting nat'l parks as an impressive personal victory, but it being a cry for help makes a little more sense.

In the sense of still wanting to be referred to by female pronouns sure, but he's made 0 effort into transitioning beyond that. He kept the Mickey Mouse voice for how long, maybe a couple of weeks?

It’s the saturated colors and flat lines coupled with the fact that the shark mouth looks like it doesn’t belong on Digi’s face, which in of itself doesn’t look like his face at all.

Whether or not Mint views that as a point of pride is up to her.

Ngl, I'm looking forward to watching this video in full after watching the trailer alone. Digi's choice to make these videos 40-45 minutes in length is a wise one, after the "A is for Attack No. 1" episode was way too long (more than an hour).

It's one thing maintaining a separate Tiktok account for lighter material but he should put anything analytic solely on his Youtube account, and with better editing and presentation.

Spice1 actually answered the opening "what's your favourite anime?" question a lot better than the wiggers Digi normally interviews; he likes Afro Samurai. Everything else is just about rap; I couldn't care less.

I still don't get the whole identity crisis with these people deluding themselves they are something else, creating a cartoon avatar of themselves, feeling the need to identify with fictional characters and have them share their own traits... This is my own retard sperging here but is it the result of never DOING things and just living a life of drugs and internet? I guess if you're inside enough and stay in the same fringe circle jerk communities online you eventually feel worthless and empty and start trying to define yourself through children's cartoons and troonery?
 
Mint's art is kinda like Digi's rap. It's not good good, but it's not incomprehensibly bad. There's potential there. If she ironed it out and polished it up a bit you could see her going pro. You can understand what she's going for.
That glimmer of actual ability is what makes Digi and his buddies so fascinating to me. You can envision a path to success for them, if you squint, but then there's always something that just goes so utterly off the rails. They each just have an aura of slight wrongness about them, and I can't quite figure out what it is.

I dunno man, maybe it's because I'm also a visual artist like Mint, but even Digi's pre-troon rap is hard to listen to, so the comparison feels kinda uneven from my perspective. I would argue that Mint draws better than Digi raps, though again, that may be my own bias. Passively consuming a series of drawings arguably has a lower barrier of entry than passively consuming a genre of music.
