With summer ending I am anticipating another hair dye job and themed fashion "season" from Digi. Out of everything he's dropped I think his priorities are screwy enough to continue it above literally anything else.

So far he's done "spring goth" (yellow/black) and "blue summer" (red/blue). I predict he's going to dye his hair red for autumn, and call it "cozy autumn" or something. I'm imagining the red being done so poorly it'll look orange. And then for winter he's definitely going to go full anime girl/zoomer and try to dye his hair silver. Which will inadvertently age him and be hilarious. Anyways time will tell... if anyone has their own guesses post em. Sometime I'll compile his "fashion" pics for each season because his clothing choices are the funniest content he's posted since the Ralph fight.

I listened to about a minute 10 minutes in as the video premiered; Digi talking about where he and his Dad would fit on his neurotyping chart. Ngl, it was sorta fun to hear such pre-trooning out After Dark content once again, even if it's the crackpot pseudoscientific psychology test of his that heralded the end of any decent material that was to come out from his YouTube career ever again.

I'd sooner listen to the rare few genuine weeb fans he has left in the world (all of whom can fit in the same room he is in) ramble for two hours, while being completely stoned out of their minds, than indifferent rapper wiggers being interviewed; it's either "yo, dat One Piece/Death Note be arite" or "man, get dat gay ass anime shit outta here, fuckin' blue-haired weird-ass nigga".

It's still pretty dire but if he was doing this sort of content instead of the Digi-née, followed by the Ygger nonsense since 2020, his career would at least be gracefully declining while his dwindling fans still listen on instead of the complete tanking of it that we got.

Digi's best videos back in the day were really good because they came from a unique perspective that was constantly trying to justify itself while also acknowledging that none of it was a really big deal. (Ergo, you didn't have to be offended by what he had to say because he didn't think it was all that important either.)

Nowadays you get these fucking AWFUL """""""analysis"""""" videos of popular anime and it's all a chore to listen to because the narrator has their head up their own ass hardcore.

Imagine trying to listen in on a discussion about how cool the latest arc in One Piece is only to be met with someone who stews too deep in "Death of the Author" in order to pull out some far-reaching pseudo-intellectual college brand essay crap that references writing and material that is far beyond the scope of what you came for JUST so that the analysis can sound "smart." To me, it speaks to a lack of confidence when you have to dress up your analysis with all this extra padding about superfluous concepts that you know the author of the work had no intention of referencing.

Digi didn't fucking do that, he was the bare minimum of talking about how something like SAO was shit because it didn't care about the details and now I'm wading through an endless sea of crap trying to convince me that, no, SAO was amaz-ballz because some college flunky connected one of the vague and ill-defined themes of the series to some random fuck-off Russian author of some book from the 1700's.

Posts like this remind me why I don't like Ben. The completely unfounded belief that he can carry his own podcast is so arrogant and delusional that its sad to even think about. The PCP was the Digi, Nate, and Jess show with friends. Despite not being as talented as Digi or Jess, Nate's hard work and charisma carried the podcast even when all he had was Hippo, Ben, and Tom. After Jess fucked off, Digi trooned out, and Nate got fed up, the podcast died.

The last bonus episode we got was pretty disappointing; it wasn't even the full three hours of Digi-bashing promised by Ben.

Ben could have done a Dick Masterson during the lolsuit and profited from all the goss he could provide, but he prefers instead to a-log Digi on Twitter and not, say, draw parody comics or sell t-shirts. Even that isthereanrvyet.com site was the creation of someone else in his Discord.

He even uses the PCP's Twitter handle to both a-log Digi & gang and bash anyone with trans-critical views.

I'm late in sharing this but Ben, via Munchy, has suggested that the main reason behind the return to a homeless arc could be that since Digi & Bird fear any vaccination mandates being introduced in the State of California, where they were living for a few months in Digi's parents' residence, they decided to go back to a less vaccination-demanding state:
