Pretty much. The videos about fashion were very informative and pointed out why the Strawberry Sparkle dress is so expensive, but really the want to have the dress is just a fad at the moment. As soon as the obsession to own it blows over, those who bought it are left with something that most girls probably won't wear more than once or don't have the body type to pull it off.

They didn't buy it for its material or for fashion. They bought it because it's popular.
By all means, if you love the dress and will wear it on more than one occasion, go for it. But if you simply want it because it's hitting all your autistic buttons and you want to be popular, consider deleting tiktok.
Speaking of aesthetic disasters, to go back to YA Instagram/Booktube and all that, just wanted to plop some choice images down that further shows these books are being designed for aesthetic hoarders. And people definitely want to encourage that.
