I don't think Colin really understands the gravity of that post. 23k likes yet there's a tacit admission that he really
does get off waking up 'as a woman' every day. For most women, routines can be mundane but we are usually burdened some way or another. It's not a masturbatory fantasy; we get up, we work, we deal with our looks, and we get on with our day. Colin shows his hand here and he doesn't know it.
I sincerely doubt a GC man wrote that. I know a few and they would never actually talk up a troon like that. GC women never call themselves 'cis', and most men never call themselves that either. I sincerely think either Colin wrote that himself or a chaser sent him a DM, hoping for pics. Most men - gay and straight - who had the 'pleasure' of interacting with Colin knows how duplicitous he is. No man actually wishes for breast cancer to validate his gender identity, either.
Exactly. The only places where you might actually find real women in the comments are the more "realistic" wholesome stuff, which is a needle in a haystack among all the other submissions. I've noticed that those artworks tend to come from ex-tumblr refugees who drew smut fanart, tumblr was the porn site for women but we all know how that went down (I wouldn't even say twitter managed to replace it because twitter is a million times worse.) And that's not even mentioning 99% of those works are of established ships and fandoms, not just random fetish art. Women won't bond over "omg [x] character is so hawt I want her to rail me/god this kink is so sexy I wanna do this" they will bond over "omg [x] ship is so adorable they're my otp."
Tumblr honestly should have had an 18+ only NSFW section, because it was the porn that kept it afloat and made it wealthy. Today, it's still strong for gifs, fanart and political takes. Political takes there get hundreds of thousands of notes, regardless of how wrong they are, vs tens of thousands on average for twitter. You can write essays on tumblr; you can't do that on Twitter.
Jordan Peterson had a good video on why women's pornography is so different from men's pornography: women like to focus on the emotions and other stimuli, whereas men are solely visual. Women liked those pairings because of a connection, and because the men looked good. It was a dissociation tactic for them. Very few would admit they just drew porn for the sake of it - they liked to make it political. Most do.
Say you just want to see dick pics of your favourite characters. Instead, you get discourse and how money needs to be funneled somewhere. That's where we see another difference: men just want to masturbate, women want to achieve something with theirs.
For every one good piece of fanart, NSFW or otherwise, the other pieces had bad anatomy and weird poses. However, recently, I have noticed more and more enbies and troons infesting fandom, writing female characters as 'women with dicks' and making biological male characters transmen. I've even seen one where a character, who was a male in his original canon, 'become' a transman and hoodwink another man for sex. I don't have an issue with problematic content - I like reading it to see how 'offensive' it is - but that disturbed me.

Colin forgets while writing his fanfic that no GC would refer to themselves as cis. So deep in the coombrain that he has no idea what those scary terven actually sound like and can only write caricatures fluent in troonspeak. What a 2/10 sad effort.
To circle back (lol) to Colin, he has a habit of posting out of context tweets or making them up as he goes along. Do not forget he is a man who sincerely believes no one will look at him and see a man, and thinks sexual orientation isn't based on genitalia. He wants a family, you know? Gotta find a nice man and settle down if he can't get Christa's eggs.
