I can't imagine it being difficult. He was charging 50 yuan a head using alipay/wechat for people to come to his house and fuck dogs. Realistically, all one needs is 50 yuan to have his full location and assemble a bunch of people. Obviously one needs to "infiltrate" the group first, since it's now public, I'd say it was an easy task. Chances are they did camp out and got a hold of him. Sichuan has a couple animal rights groups and open shelters to rescue them.It would be interesting to know how that guy ended up getting tracked down and how this protesting crowd found him and managed to shame him publicly. Did they camp out in front of his address? How did they dox him anyways?
However it happened, hell yeah. This is another small step forward in the direction of animal rights in another country.
Most non-first-world countries honestly have more issues to worry about. 60 million Chinese is said to have an income of below $150 monthly, they need food on the table before worrying about how disgusting degenerate furfags and zoosadists abuse animals.
