I think he still thinks making and uploading that hideous drawing wasn't wrong, but it ended his "friendship" with Megan, so he's sad.

I can't even remember the names of the girls I was interested in 20 years ago, I really hope Megan has some sort of protection because this is just getting creepy. His background check will be denied due to christory. But the armory where he 's purchasing the firearm can do a counter claim. It will take longer but they'll find out why it was denied and either deny him completely or allow him to continue with the purchase.

I doubt he can shoot any pistol safely (except the megatron pistol), I had a friend of mine that couldn't handle the recoil of 9mm minus the sound of it going off even with hearing protection.

I'm not worried about it. And caden can't buy one either due to his felony.

Chris is not convicted felon but in VA you can be denied gun owning abilities if you're deemed mentally incompetent when being institutionalized VA 18.2-308.1:x, he was involuntarily institutionalized once after being deemed incompetent for trial but not sure if that also denies his ability to purchase firearms for life considering he was subsequently found competent and released.

So as long as that doesn't stick I don't know any legal history that would forbid him.

I think just firing off one round would cause him to shit his pants. Chris doesn't like loud noises and unless he tests it ahead of time, the first loud bang will ring his ears and he'd probably drop it right away. I don't think he's ever been around guns before but they are extremely, and I mean extremely loud.

Plus any private seller would take one look at Chris and bounce, if his messaging to the seller wouldn't be enough of a giveaway.

As ToroidalBoat points out, Chris basically had made himself into a Jesus-like prophecy figure in the context of the Sonichu comics (the groundwork for what is now his real life goddess LARP), and very much has always had 'main character syndrome'. Outright calling himself a twisted version of a returned Jesus just goes hand-in-hand with this belief in 'the Merge' given Jesus's return is supposed to coincide with the apocalypse. Also remember he has desperately insisted more than once that The Merge has happened, though with Caden in control I actually don't recall the last time Chris has talked about it.

And the deal with Flutter...that definitely went beyond simply being somebody paid off by Praetor/Caden, since it doesn't explain all the trips to Finland if it was for the sake of a simple tard wrangler. It may simply be possible that Flutter was a well-off, well-meaning (or psychotic in her own way) person who took pity and thought being a close confidant with Chris was a good thing for her own reasons. She definitely seemed wary about being SEEN with him, as evidenced by her attempts to avoid recognition in the camera from the one convention Chris got banned from halfway through. If she still has association with Chris is unclear, this 'grounded message' definintely suggesting things are on the outs, but really that's just classic Chris where anybody that isn't his mother will, without fail, ultimately be driven off from trying to help him because of his selfish, self-destructive behavior that he absolutely refuses to acknowledge is a problem.

And as for Flutter going beyond tard wrangler status, maybe you might be right. Didn't think too much about the Finland trips they've had. All that tells me is Flutter is likely not a normal person and probably has her own set of problems. She's a lot closer to normie than Chris has or will ever be, but that's an extremely low bar to set. If anything it shows how truly insufferable Chris is that even someone who is probably almost as strange as he is might have cut ties with him because he kept thinking of her as a girlfriend.

I believe Chris has advanced these delusions mostly in part by how shitty has life as gotten. As in, the older he gets, the more garbage his life has become, thus he compensates heavily with how he views himself.

Back in the 2000s, you could pretty much just up and talk to Chris, and he'd blab on about whatever. Over the decades, he's learned that interacting like that isn't from genuine fans, but people just trying to get a laugh from him. So that made him extremely distrustful of anyone contacting him (which is another weird thing with Flutter). He was seen as immature, a jerk, and a retard back then, and that has gradually creeped into his head after trying to go after famous people like the Brony analysis folks. He just can't wrap his head around why those people don't want to interact with him. It doesn't help with Caden and Flutter dumping chum buckets of praise on him, telling him how amazing and great he is, but then he turns around and gets treated like a leper.

He probably had some ideas of what he'd be like in his forties, probably have a woman, family, finally recognized for his "talents", but none of that has come. He's famous, but for all the wrong reasons, and he's gradually able to comprehend that he's a dancing monkey, that people only pay attention to for a good laugh. I'd like to think that he understands Caden is running the show, not him, and that has fomented some sort of resentment. Like Chris didn't make all these sales of merch, it was someone else.

Basically the all mighty Chris of the 2000s, who thought he could do everything, couldn't. Now he needs crutches to get his name out there, and when he highlights how he's change or his new creations, his stupid gospels, no one really gives a fuck. I mean the most interesting thing about the Goddess writings is that Chris is all for incest in any form, even for making a kid. The rest? No one really cares.

So now that he's absorbed all that, mixed in with getting outright banned from public gatherings he felt so welcomed at, he has to compensate by thinking he's even more great than he once was. Once Barb dies and Caden gets bored with him, we'll really see him go off the rails.
