Even in a world where money grows on trees I wouldn't give him anything. If he's too lazy to grow his own money tree or go out to the money forest and pick his own money then he doesn't deserve it.

You can bet he would be too lazy to grow his own money tree, or maybe he would grow it and then stop taking care of it and complain on Facebook when the tree dies and/or stops producing money.

He can't be entertaining though. Chris is not talented, not funny, and in no way entertaining when he tries to be. Chris can't deliver, which is why people shouldn't expect anything for the money they give him.

Yeah, peeps aren't giving them enough money so they need more help. But at the same time, he doesn't want to seem greedy or ungrateful because that would keep the free money from rolling in.

I wouldn't say Chris can't be entertaining. I would say that people don't try very hard to get him to be entertaining. They pretty much give him the money up front, no questions asked. Zero effort at quality control.

In essence, they're sleeping with Chris on the first date.

Yes, but that's still not actually being Chris entertaining when you have to make do like 5-10 takes, and he still sucks at it.

Chris said $115k a few months ago. The monthly payment would depend on how Barb borrowed, but could range from several hundred to over $1000 per month.

He isn't entertaining when he tries to be. RAH and his jokes are terrible. Giving Chris money to do something interesting is a dumb idea. He doesn't work that way.
