A streamer on YouTube left broadcasted herself smoking cannabis while driving, before running over a pedestrian in Los Angeles.

The woman, who goes by ‘VP‘ on the popular video-sharing platform, frequently live streams, with viewers on Reddit describing her own channel as showcasing consistent drug use and “peeing in alleys.”

However, things took a serious turn after VP hit a pedestrian while driving in Los Angeles, the sound of a loud bump heard on stream as the camera rattled. Prior to the hit, she had been smoking cannabis and discussing whether or not she was getting back with an ex-boyfriend.

Quickly stopping the car after the accident, VP opened the door to ask the pedestrian whether they were ok, before being told in response, “No, what the f*** did you do?”

“I didn’t see her!” VP exclaimed, rebutting claims that she wasn’t paying attention to the road. “I was looking, I didn’t see you. I’m telling you, I did not see you. Just tell me how I can help?”

Closing her door once more, the streamer attempted to find a place to pull over and park, telling viewers, “Oh my God, you guys. I don’t know what just happened, but it wasn’t good.”

Shortly afterward, she ended the livestream to try and resolve situation, leaving the chat with some departing words; “Alright guys, there’s your content.” However, hours later VP went live again, leaving viewers shocked to discover she had not been arrested.

“It was really scary,” she admitted, stating the accident happened due to the sun blinding her and had “nothing to do” with any drug use or her looking at chat while driving. “You can go look at the stream, I was not even looking at chat.”

As the chat filled with questions regarding the hit, VP claimed the police let her go.

“I’m blessed because I decided to not be a piece of sh**,” she said. “The cop literally told me… ‘Just so you know, I know how hard that was. Do you know how many hit and runs we have out here?'”

She also alleged the pedestrian that had been hit was “fine” and that she wasn’t worried about being sued due to having insurance.

While cannabis is legal in California, driving under the influence of drugs is a crime.

Bitch seems to not realize the police can just arrest her later. And you know fucktons of redditors have already informed them.

I don't know how it works in commifornia, but in other places, committing a crime like DUI, invalidates the insurance.

She also lives in her car with a little dog that she abuses constantly. Dog is always sick, never gets enough water, and is kicked and hit by her.

Cannabis DUIs are often difficult to prosecute because the primary evidence is the THC metabolites that can remain in your system for a while after you actually used the drug. There's no real clear-cut level of THC or metabolites that will cause impairment like with BAC.

Technically I don't think it's illegal to smoke marijuana and drive if you're not impaired. Like how in some states like Texas there's no open container laws for vehicles, so you can buy a beer to drink on the drive home from work and there's no issue as long as you're not legally impaired.

California has a unique law when it comes to DUIs. Basically, when convicted you have to sign an acknowledgment that future DUIs could lead to death or seriously injury. If you commit another DUI and kill someone as a result, they charge you with second-degree murder because you were previously warned and signed the document stating these facts.

Before you guys simply say "she'll never be arrested bc lol Califagnia" keep in mind that Cali isn't a monolith. In some place like Redding she'd be dragged off to jail with the local TV station there to film it, having been alerted by police radio traffic. But Los Angeles? Nope, nothing will happen unless the TV news gets a hold of the story and decides to run "Youtube streamer literally squashes woman flat live" on a slow news day. Look how long it took LA County to shitcan Susan Schofield despite her sperging MbP all over tehnetz for literal fucking YEARS. Besides, LA is full of semi-humans like this. A lot of the locals get off on watching crazy people do dumb shit on the roads. This is a place where not only does the TV news break into regular programming to broadcast car chases live, the TV news choppers have radar guns and there's a little speedometer in the live feed to show viewers how fast the crook is going in real time. So yeah, tune in for the next installment of Weed & Piss Live.

I can't believe that Bathrobe Dwane would do this. Here's the video of the horrific footage

That is not remotely true, Texas has a law against open container on the books. TX Penal Code § 49.031.
