Suppose it's telling that people are dropping these accusations in documents on Twitter instead of going to the cops, regardless of the statute of limitations.

The common excuse I hear is that "justice is never served by the system and they need the internet to feel safe to tell their story!"

That never made much sense to me when it's some random YouTuber or streamer who most likely does not have that amount of reach.

Oh well.

Nick was on After Hours today we're so back. They were debating Willy Mac's Destiny video a bit. Something about him not fact checking/going deeper into something Destiny had said about an annoying female orbiter of his. Kinda funny how we were debating about whether Willy would be the next one to go and a couple weeks later he's in a mini community drama. I mean, I don't think anyone is even gonna remember this in a few weeks, but still. He was pretty funny in the new half baked.

Nick was making a point that a lot of the criticisms made about the Destiny video were people expecting the same level of context/deep dive in a 40 min youtube video as a 5 hour stream, that the community has shifted away so much from video essays that they've forgotten what they're supposed to do. Honestly I think that's best content wise. I think documentary slop is far worse than any of the content people who hate slop usually criticize. Livestreams with a rare long video essay when the topic demands or short form comedy focused videos are probably best for where things are right now.

Speaking of which, in an earlier stream Nick mentioned he's working on a video about the Dogpack/Mr.Beast stuff, likely a 2 parter. I can't wait for part 1 and then never seeing the rest of it.
 
Willy's video was just disguised sweeping but also weirdly he seemed ignorant of important shit that even cursory investigations should have turned up.

The most embarrassing point was that he didn't know how to pronounce Lav's name and considered her a minor character. There's simply no way you can be even remotely informed on Destiny's bullshit and not know that Lav is an intrinsic part of his story (while knowing how to pronounce her fucking name).

Nick's stream intro is making me miss MC Jarbo like a mf

On another note, I think the Destiny coverage has been so good because: 1, it's insane; and 2, because they're resisting contrarianism. Usually if a drama goes on too long commentators start to get annoyed with the previously upheld side of it and want to go after them. It's hard to get more annoying than Destiny fans, and all the sweeping accusations have crushed any chance of commentators switching sides. Looks like its just gotten started, and if that Destiny dicksucking retard who called into kuihman's stream is anything to go by, we have a lot of content to look forward to.
 
What can you tell me about FPS Diesel? Well, except the obvious "literally who". I know of him only from his cozying up with YanDev and his pet cuck CameronF305.

Augie uploaded a clip covering h3h3 suing the snark subreddit. Currently, it's titled "Ethan Klein is still an unhinged maniac" (true)

Comments seem to be giving him pushback, joining in on the sweeping (gay) or saying that they don't care bc Ethan is funny when he's uinhinged (real). Something interesting is that these comments seem to have more of a problem with Willy Mac than Augie, saying he's been having bad takes for a while. Again, who tf cares, but it's been a bit of a trend in the audience lately. I mean most of the comments are just having fun with it, making fun of the paywall and heiling the cabal. It's good to see RFC back, Augie seems to have consistently reasonable takes without fence sitting.

Augie has been consistently grounded on the internet, he aint a turbo tard political guy, not a moral arbiter, just man interested in making a business off the backs of schizo faggots (a massive win).
 
I don't know, Augie is in a weird position where he's resisted selling out completely for money by turning into Turkey Tom and being a safe-edgy faggot pronoun respecter but I feel like because of that he's went way too far into the superchat/dono shilling to try making the same amount of money.

The streams are unwatchable to me now with all of the "WE HIT THE GOAL GUYS, HERE'S YOUR REWARD A NEW GOAL" and stopping to read superchats every 5 minutes, while at the same time dragging the streams out to be several hours when he'll have at best an hour worth of material to cover.

I don't know of a better way for him to make money while not respecting pronouns but at the same time as someone who just cares about entertainment I'm not going to watch garbage to "own the libs".

To my knoweledge the goal thing was to mock frogan increasing goals on her stream. Which nick turned into its own thing. Superchats in a stream format like augies mati is weird to do as theyre typically contexual to the segment or only work in the moment. But thats just coming from an observers perspective.

That was always an issue with Augie streams, after hours used to sound legit schizophrenic when it had 7 people in a discord call talking over a video at 2x speed with superchats screaming over them. I didn't mind the dragging out content as much before because it was more people bouncing off of each other. Still enjoying the streams though

Personally I find the new goal being a meaningless goal funny but the joke is definitely getting stale. Reading super chats and having the constant sound clips playing in the background are what kill all of these types of streams for me. At least Nick lowers the volume but it's literally a non stop thing. I hear the Boogie vs Nick, "I don't respect you," "oh noooooo," in my sleep after watching any stream clip from him.
