In case it wasn’t obvious, Inky’s been with me for nearly twenty years!

Hi ! It's gonna depend of their fabrics but, if you're not sure, always go with a lukewarm bath with some soap and wash them by hand !I do have a question for the ladies here: I have a ton of old stuffed animals in plastic bags in the basement of my mother's house. Some of them are quite old and unlikely to have cleaning instructions, if their tags are legible at all. What is the safest way to clean stuffed animals without causing damage?
Any advice on the type of soap? Bar soap, dish soap?Hi ! It's gonna depend of their fabrics but, if you're not sure, always go with a lukewarm bath with some soap and wash them by hand !
Oh def not dish soap, it's super abrasive ! If you can, idk where you live, but, try to find some bio bar soap or you can also use laundry detergent (english isn't my native language so by this one I'm referencing laundry soap haha)Any advice on the type of soap? Bar soap, dish soap?
I have never heard of this. Do you mean something like Castile bar soap?bio soap
I think the misunderstanding is due to my native language, in French, bio means organic/natural as, a lot of soaps sold in supermarket are full of bad ingredients.I have never heard of this. Do you mean something like Castile bar soap?
Okay, let's try this.I think it's due to my native language, in French, bio means organic/natural as, a lot of soaps sold in supermarket are full of bad ingredients.
Hahahaha yeah I meant organic, def not this type of "nettoyant"Okay, let's try this.
Je pense que vous voulez dire « organic » en Englais. En anglais, « bio soap » pourrait signifier un nettoyant enzymatique.
Laundry liquid section at the supermarket will usually have a range for delicates/wool wash. That’s usually a gentle option that’s good for hand washing.Any advice on the type of soap? Bar soap, dish soap?
Just sew it back onI have a stuffed monkey, called monkey. Had since I was a baby. It hasn't been washed in decades and his head is falling off, hence I don't want to wash it, lest his head come off.
Unless there's not enough material to sew back on with. My childhood teddy bear's head came off so many times that Mom had to out-right tell me to stop abusing her because there was going to be no way to sew her head back on if it happened again. So in an attempt to try and save her from future damage (especially in the wash/dryer), I tied on a ribbon around her neck to see if it would keep her head on.Just sew it back on
