how could I forget about my beanie babies. I have a huge tub of them somewhere at my parent's house. My mother and aunt used to buy them for me, but then get mad I would take the tags off and dunk them in water and give them baths or bury them in my sandbox or get mud and dirt on them. They were definitely well loved unlike a lot of them where people expected they would be worth a lot of money or something and would invest in them then the bubble popped and now they are worthless.

Mine aren't worthless though, they are full of memories.
 
Recently I purchased this plush labradoodle. It's incredibly soft and huggable. I have a soft spot for dogs, especially the fluffy breeds, and that includes poodles, labradoodles and the like. When I was young I used to hoard stuffed animals, now I just keep a tightly-curated selection of them in my room.

Once in a blue moon I'll treat myself by getting someone to make a custom doll of a character I like thanks to the fact that a lot of my favourites have little to no official merchandise. I keep them on shelves in my bedroom alongside a few favourite toys I had as a kid that I don't have the heart to get rid of now (and even if I did my mom would salvage them and put them in her box of memories). I tend to take care of my dolls - I dust them, I wash them if I accidentally spill my drink on them, etc., and let me tell you it hurts to see what happens to plushies in the Plushophile thread over in Animal Control. :cryblood:
 
I have 4 bears (one of whom is as old as I am called Mr. Beary Good, Tiny Ted, Henry and Cripples). A fox, three bunnies, an armadillo, a miffy the bunny, and oddly enough, a Kiwi from when I was very young.

I'm ancient but my shelf with them on makes me smile every time I see it.
 
I got a few plushies laying around, including a few of the early American pokemon beanbag plushies, but the one closest to my withered heart is one of the first toys I ever received when I was born: an old, restuffed toy rabbit named Flopsy. I couldn't find a good pic of it in its original state, but it's remained one of the few relics of my childhood I hold very dear.
 
I have two plushies left from when I was like 4 or something. One is a bear whose fabric looks thin af but somehow he survived all these years with no tears.

The other is some sort of Beanie baby knockoff of a pink mouse. At some point the mouse was married to a dog plushie I had, but idk what happened to it. She’s a stronk independent mouse now.
 
I have a ton, because I pack bond with shit instantly, and I pack bond hard. I have some from my childhood, especially ones given to me by loved ones who passed away, and I have one that was given to me the day after I was born. I even have some stuffed animals that exes gave me when we were together, because I'm a sentimental bitch and I can't bear to part with them.

My favorites are an Ikea shark name Micoo (inside joke), a standard teddy bear named Oscar, a Catbug squishable, and a huge unicorn named Susan B Anthony. I have various minecraft, pusheens, and fandom plush characters on my bookshelves, but I don't think those really count for the purposes of this thread.
 
Two teddy bears named Sam and Lizzie, Fozzie Bear, 3 Sonic Plushes, A Tofu from Dofus, Bart Simpson and Krusty the Clown, Morgana from Persona 5, Two Marios and One Luigi (he's fucking huge), A Donkey Kong I found on the Street when I was walking home from my bus stop back to the apartments i was living at during the time, Purple Stickfigure with a knife from a Cyanide and Happiness kickstarter.

That's just in my corner of the room
 
I have a (small) collection of Stitches and I would not refuse new ones to add to it,

My first teddy is called Edward and he was knitted for me before I was born. I still have him but he’s lost most of his stuffing.
 
I have more as an adult than I had as a kid tbh. I still have a few from childhood tho narcmom has an irrational hatred of girls having toys after age 10 or so so she got rid of most of my toys from childhood.

I have most of them in one of those stuffed animal nets but it's pretty full so tbh my woman child ass needs another one.

My favs are my fluffy raptor, big Scar, and any of the handmade ones or ones that were gifts from friends :)
