He fucked up the paint is the problem. If he had used clay for the mouth and pupils it'd of been great.

It was number 12 according to the packaging. It was likely done in a hurry to get to infamous Number 13

It looks more like what a "Yawning Squirtle" ice cream pop from an ice cream truck would look like when you take off the wrapper.

It's just that Chris never made a Yawning Squirtle medallion before. It's the Sonichus and Rosechus that he's most experienced with.

It's kind of interesting to observe what details Chris takes from the CWCki forums. Awhile back, there were some leaked email conversations between him and a former MHS classmate where he wrote out JULAY instead of the proper spelling.
 
The Squirtle got me thinking... if anything in the Sonichu comic universe is fair game for medallions, does that mean that we can get a Mary Lee Walsh medallion? I bet that would look worse than the Squirtle!

It just looks like he put it in the box when it was still slightly tacky. The paint, I mean.
 
Somebody compliments chris ability to scuplt without training and he is right there to prove everybody wrong by whatever that abomination is.
 
Yeah, I'm on the side of liking the Yawning Squirtle medallion. True, objectively it is really poorly made, but I think it fits with the character and is even endearing in its messiness.

Though it probably wouldn't work as well with any normal character, like Bubbles Rosechu or something. *yawn* is the exception.
