I received my medallion today, so I figured I'd make a thread for everyone who gets one to post their pictures. I documented the unboxing.

it arrived in a small, thick paper wrapped box. not pictured, chris spent $3.37 to ship this out.

the medallion (number 13), front and back, as well as the certificate of authority full of classic CWCisms, and a small paper note for repairs should they become necessary.


all in all, I am pleasantly surprised. the quality is nice, though the model magic is much lighter than I was expecting (I was guessing it'd be the same sort of density as other modeling clay, but it weighs less). considering chris told us he made my medallion while feeling out of it, it's much better than I was anticipating.
 
Kudos, Chris. I'm impressed. I was expecting hand written certificates, and that repair manual is absolutely hilarious.
 
I'm surprised he didn't call it Kragle. Doesn't look all too bad, considering it's a rush job... and also that it was made by Chris.

Edit: By the way, "13/100"? Is this medallion just part of a whole? If all 100 medallions are brought together, will it summon Sonichu himself? :D
 
Yep, #13/100. Only 100 will be made, no matter how much money you offer for a reissue. So buy now!
What's with the coloring on the eyes of everything Chris makes lately? I can't tell if he's trying to replicate some sort of anime effect or if he just does them while going through the d.t.'s.

Overall it's surprisingly non-terrible though, if you disregard the bite taken out of the left side.
 
If you look very closely, you can see the taint germs all over the back of the medallion. That pumpkin guy was right to cancel his payment.
 
That's a decent job of packing and shipping, and the certificate is a nice touch. The medallion doesn't seem any the worse for the rush, either. Pleasant surprise, really.

no, it's the same paint as the rest, i think he was just going for that anime-desu eye thing in the top left corners. there's also a big ol' fingerprint in the eye on the left, but i'm not concerned about that.

It's like the cursed treasure of Cortez in the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. If you take one from the collection, you'll be cursed forever until you return it.

That shit got old in a hurry. If you hate the idea of people buying stuff from Chris, just post elsewhere. I'm going to come down hard on people who can't handle themselves in this thread.
