In my experience, every game that isn't A Link To The Past or Ocarina Of Time is the most hated by the Zelda fanbase, they pretty much want Nintendo to make the same game over and over and any deviation is met with vitriol.
Twilight Princess is a legitimately great game with some of the best dungeons in the entire Zelda franchise imo, the only fly in the ointment is really the pointless waggle controls.
Wind Waker was one of those games that was vilified at the time because everyone wanted a "dark and gritty" LoZ game, which they got with Twilight Princes.

In recent years Wind Waker has been treated far better by both journalists and fans. And to be fair there are other fan favorites people like that just aren't popular. A good example is Link's Awakening, I've yet to hear anyone really complain about that game all that much.

I love watching awful horror games. The worse they are, the more hilarious they become.

I played a demo of a Christian game called Pilgrims Progress. I find it to be a guilty pleasure for myself and I did have fun playing it (It's a game that plays like a turn-based RPG). *Misc fact: The game was made by the same guy who made Five Nights at Freddy's.

Any of the House of the Dead games. They so ridiculous, that its so much fun.

Another game that's admittedly shit, but I kind of enjoyed it was Far Cry Vengeance on the Wii. The AI on the enemies was so amusing that I had to see more.

While playing it I really enjoyed Silent Hill Homecoming, arguably the most hated of the Silent Hill games but...I just can't bring myself to hate it.

I wouldn't say it's the most hated. Downpour probably is. I like Homecoming as a Silent Hill game but the difficulty is ridiculous. The first few had an easy difficulty.

The Dog Island. It's adorable as hell and rated E, but it actually has some pretty deep messages.

I've seen the Game Grumps play parts of that game, and I was genuinely surprised at how dire the stakes are in that game (at least from what I've saw in the beginning of the game) The game actually looks kinda fun too.

Destiny. I've spent more time than I care to admit in it, and despite the fact that I keep whining about the wasting of a potentially epic story, I find myself having a lot of fun with it.

Incidentally, if anybody else plays on XB1 and wants to raid or anything, PM me for my GT

Oy vey I actually hate Downpour so much that I legit forgot it existed, safe to say the only 'guilty pleasure' element to that crap was sitting down friends who've never played it and watching them suffer.
But yeah I remember Homecoming getting a HUGE negative reaction for the 'americanisation' of the franchise, the wanky combat and the fact that it was a poorly done rehashing of SH2.....but I still like it, the monsters are neat and it has nostalgia protection from me for being the first SH game I played after the original 4 as a kid

I pre-ordered Downpour about two weeks before it was released. Only put down the minimum $5 requirement, but I never picked up my copy. I doubt I ever will.

I have a soft spot for the Kingdom Hearts series. It's the most JRPG of JRPGs, but we had some good times back in 2005 when the series was at its heyday. I've only just gone back to it now that the HD collections are out. Though I tend to play it when no one is around because I don't want to explain my gaming choices to anyone I live with.

Sonic R. Definitely. The music is bad (but in a catchy, memorable sort of way,) the controls are clunky if you don't know how to drift, there's only five tracks, the characters are completely unbalanaced and any parts with water look almost totally unfinished.

And yet, I love it to pieces. Once you figure out you can use the triggers to drift, the game becomes way more manageable. Despite the music being bad, I can't help but love it and I can appreciate what they were trying to do with each track (being that the old Sonic games have multiple paths you can take, each track in this game does too.) Speed running it to completion is fun and I still throw it on for a few quick races sometimes when I just wanna kill time.

The Hamtaro games. Surprisingly solid adventure games for being licensed games about hamsters.

Nekopara. I stumbled across it on Steam, and knew I just had to buy it when I found out the options menu had this:

OK, it's not exactly the most interactive experience ever, but for some reason, I'm enjoying the ever loving fuck out of it. Even if the steam version seems to have omitted the porn.

Dead thread don't care
Jet Set Radio Future. Came with the original Xbox on a split disc with Sega GT. loved the soundtrack, the characters, and the overall feel. I played Jet Grind Radio ten years later, and wasn't overly fond of it, so it makes me wonder if JSRF was purely nostalgic but, fuck it.

Also, Digimon World 2 and 3. Former was a dungeon crawler, latter reminded me of FFIX in regards to combat. Both games were incredibly smooth and because I didn't have a gameboy growing up, I fiercely defended these games when people said "just play Pokemon you sperg".

I also love the middle generation Mortal Kombat games with the 3 fighting styles and long ass combos. And Konquest where you got to run around the MK world, especially Deception. Fuck, I love MK Deception so much that I would buy a PS2 again just to play it.

All of these games I fell in love with at least ten years ago so yes, I'm aware nostalgia factor is partly responsible for the feels for these titles (originally wrote titties because I'm 14) but I can safely say these guilty pleasures will always hold a place in my heart. not to mention I recently ran through the Digimon World games a couple of months ago
Sperging over.

Also, I periodically relapse into booting up Runescape.
(I'm so ashamed of this one :'()
I started a new character in Run Escape the other week, there's no shame in it. Game is pretty dead now though, unlike when I played in the heyday, like 12 years ago. Back then all I did was steal cakes and scam people.

I also play a whole shitload of those browser room escape games. If you aren't familiar with the genre they're essentially point-and-click games where you look for items and clues, solve puzzles and find a way out of a room. They're fun if they're well made, which they usually aren't. Japs make some pretty cool ones though.
