Tenchi Muyo I think? I liked the alcoholic space pirate with blue hair the most. Then Pokemon, DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha were also things I liked from Toonami or Adult Swim when I was young. I fucking hated Gundam but loved Zoids for some reason too...

I somehow managed to never watch Evangelion, even though everyone loves that one.

Idk how you hate Gundam bae when is has shit like this...

Gundam Wing was the first anime I actually watched in full aware that it was an anime.

I remember watching Noozles when I was really little (like 3-4), though:

That was my actual first anime, followed up by the Sailor Moon dub in the morning before going to school a few years later. After that, it was Pokemon, but I watched that as an extension of playing the games, not because I was a weeb-in-training.

The first one I remember would be Sailor Moon because my sister was huge into it, but the real first one would probably be one of obscure Tatsunoko productions shown on 90s Polish TV.

Fushigi Yuugi :heart-full:

I watched Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura and Digimon. Not sure which came first.

I rented Guyver: Bio Boosted Armor from blockbuster after watching the live action movie STARTING MARK HAMIL (also rented from blockbuster).

It had titties and everything.

The first anime I ever saw was probably the first Pokemon cartoon. Although my first exposure to the anime/manga style in the first place was probably Zelda and Mario games.

I watched Card Captor Sakura before I even knew what anime was. I actually didn't realize anime was even a separate entity from western animation until a few years later when I got into middle school. Ever since then it's been somewhat of a downward spiral into anime hell for me.

Ah, pink, sakura splattered childhood memories.
