So, how bad is it to have phone out of security updates? Mine's running out later this year and honestly it's the first time I managed not to break the phone or get to the point of it getting sluggish as shit within 3 years. I'll gladly keep it for more years if it's not a security liability, considering getting separate newer budget phone just for banking apps etc.

I have used phones sometimes for up to 5 years without upgrading (and I barely update the software even when they were still provided) with no issues so as long as you are clicking on random stuffs I think you should be fine.

I've been using Sony Xperia XA2 for 8 years and I don't plan on changing it, unless it breaks. It's running LineageOS 22.2 for now, but I'm planning to upgrade to LOS 23 with microG.

Current is Motorola One Fusion+
Picked it because: full screen (no selfie camera or speaker area on screen), 3.5mm jack, 5000 mah battery.
Been using it approx. 5-6 years; camera LED (flash) no longer works, battery is doing ok, great screen (no issues with accidental touches, etc.)
Biggest CON I can think of is that the phone is fucking HUGE.
