It's definitely because most people either have not had properly prepared fish. I fucking hated seafood for the longest time because my mother was terrible at cooking it.
I didn't have actual good seafood until I moved to a port town and had easy access to it, now I've tried all sorts of sea critters.
Canned fish is pretty bad tier, although I still hope that I'll find a variety that doesn't smell like Lena dunams cunt after a jog or taste like a corpse in water.

I think a lot of it is regional. Ask any millennial from California, Hawaii, or pretty much any Asian country. They'll like fish, if not just sushi.

Fish is good for you even with the mercury. Id say this is a factor to our record levels of autism but then how much fish are the amish eating?

I just got 2 kilos of salmon and a dozen oysters from my boss. It really has an aphrodisiac effect, unfortunately I'm alone tonight.

Fish just smells worse than meat, and there are also issues with bones, which are much more tiresome to remove. Though it might depend on a type of fish itself, and ones I encountered the most are perch, bream and pike, all fried on a pan with lots of sunflower oil.

If fish smells fishy then it's not fresh, it should smell like the ocean (unless it's fresh water fish, then it should smell like a sewage contaminated ditch). Frozen fish is fine, it was frozen on a trawler not long after it was caught. Pro-tip: in supermarkets (at least in the UK) most 'fresh' chilled fish products were previously frozen. Also crab > lobster, fight me.

I can't really get decent fish where I live, only frozen pangasius, and that's shit.
Nasty, foul-tasting, hormone-filled shit bloated with water and then frozen, so I'd have to pay for ~200 grams of ice.

Rarely I score something decent, then I either roast or pan-fry it. Lightly salted, sprinkled with freshly squeezed lemon juice, with a side of rice and tardar sauce.

Most young people i know eat fish.
Garfish is currenly in season around these parts, so i eat it like 4-5 times a week. Cheap and easy.

What's with the people in this thread, who say they mostly eat fastfood?
Have fun not living past 50 and dying as virgins, you fat lardasses.

i'm a zoomer and i usually prefer fish/seafood over other types of poultry.

Other types of poultry? Fish isn't poultry at all...
