The phrase "fuck around and find out" has been floating around on the lips of the invalid recently, and I wish they'd start fucking around and finding out themselves cause that's literally what life's about. It's actually an interesting question: If the US were to build a new planned capital in a different location than the Potomac, where would the best spot be?
Personally I would argue near St. Louis, on the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. It's a relatively central location within the country, which makes it more militarily secure, and a good national hub for road, rail and river transport as well as domestic flights.
It's also close to the demographic center of the US, just like Washington DC was when it was constructed.

I guess the only major issue is that the new DC would be much further away from NYC, the US's economic capital, but if you like the sound of corporate lobbyists kvetching about the longer commute you might see that as a positive.
 
Ethan Ralph, I get, because they are more like friendly allies than friends. But he hasn’t invited Beardson or Baked Alaska, it seems, despite the fact that they’ve both been loyal to him all these years. Do you think they wonder about that? If I were them, I would, especially since he’s apparently brought a couple other random people from the AF movement.
It seems like Nick’s very appreciative of people who’ve been newly good/loyal to him that he didn’t expect it from, like SNEAKO and in the past, Jaden, because they both lost opportunities by defending him, so he then does everything he can to make them feel like it was worth their while (inviting SNEAKO to meet Kanye, giving Jaden free rent, etc). But for people who already had damaged reputations for things that didn’t involve AF, like BakedAlaska and Beardson, it seems like he’s inclined to take them for granted, even though they’ve been loyal and stuck around all these years.

He wants to be the gatekeeper. As gay as that is, Ye is now a huge thing to his group and he probably wants to restrict access by people who are even bigger flakes than he is.
