You could visibly see Kanye getting annoyed every time Tim interrupted him. You bring on these guests because they have stirred up controversy, you let them speak if you have any genuine interest in their perspective, you don't ask them a question and then just cut them off 20 seconds into a response.
 
Pool is crying because he said Ye right away jumps into talking about Jews and wouldn’t talk about anything else… No, Ye was trying to tell his story about almost getting arrested and can’t even finish it without being lectured about how identitarianism is bad.

This really does seem like a situation when you would just suck it up and deal with whatever negativity you think you'll get after. "sorry guys, I wouldn't usually let that go on but i think this was worth it", something like that.
The biggest takeaway from it all to me is that it was Alex Jones producer that connected Kanye and Milo.

There was a vid from the campaign trail where they're both present (Milo appears 6mins in as a hypeman):
...but there's others where it's just Carlgon and his roadies sans Milo:

He was obviously involved to some degree and Carlgon was probably tapping him for advice but I haven't seen anything to suggest that he actually ran the campaign.
