This shit honestly hurts my head to read. She shouldn't apologize because some retards got butthurt over something trivial and instead told them that if they don't like it, tough tits for them and to instead go back to reading their little circle jerk propaganda pieces. On an unrelated note, does anyone know what font those trigger warnings are written in? I like the look of it.

I would shut a book with this content warning in it so fast. I've seen some authors just list content warnings on their Twitter for their books or whatever, but lmao "female oppression" please stop.
 
So I'm supposed to believe that there is someone out there who was fine with "child abuse" but got triggered by "incest", and fine with "mention of pedophilia" but triggered by "CSA and grooming of minors"?

I don’t think I’ve ever read a good book that included trigger warnings. Sometimes I think the author is trying to show that they’re a real writer because they write about heavy shit.

I first saw them being used in Fanfiction, but occasionally it was “Trigger Warning: All” and if you got triggered YOU were the dumb motherfucker.

These retards read all the rape and incest fiction happily, the only reason they claimed to be “triggered” was because declaring oneself triggered is an act of clout-chasing.

They don’t know what it fucking even is.

I know people with PTSD and actual triggers and it’s not the fucking end of the world, it’s just a “close the book/media, do something else”. Weirdly enough the hardcore horror genre in film and literature is beloved by people with deep traumas as it is an environment where they have complete control.
 
All books should just include this passage: “this book contains material that might trigger extremely neurotic people who can’t distinguish works of fiction from their own personal psychoses.”

Edit: I wonder if these geniuses think that Salman Rushdie could’ve saved himself from a decade in hiding if he just put a trigger warning in front of The Satanic Verses

Coming of age and white women children go together because they're sheltered as shit and as a result never faced any actual hardship or responsibility. So as a result, they think being an adult/coming of age is all about them road trips and first romances and heartbreaks with the cute uwu hipster soft boy/captain of the football team like in John Green books or whatever sappy romance movie they saw.
